DONNA, Emma Margaret died 16 June 1958 Source: Obituary from the LaSalle News-Tribune OBIT/NOTES: Mrs. Peter DONNA, 64 of Spring Valley (Bureau County) died at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Margaret's Hospital where she was admitted on April 22nd. She had been ill since December. Funeral services were conducted at 8:30 a.m. Thursday from the Elias Chapel in Peru and also at 9 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church in Spring Valley. Burial was commenced at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Spring Valley. The rosary was recited at the Elias Chapel at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. DONNA was the former Emma FOOCKLE, born in Peru on 16 Aug 1893. She married Peter DONNA, who survives, in 1918. They made their home in Spring Valley, Bureau County, IL. Mrs. DONNA is survived by 3 daughters: Mrs. Edwin (Dorothy) MEYER, Spring Valley; Mrs. Leonard (Louise) BRATKOVICH, Peru & Mrs. Joseph (Florence) SIGMUND, Peru. A son, John DONNA, of Peru also survives. 3 brothers survive: Henry FOOCKLE, Spring Valley; Edward FOOCKLE, Peru & Ralph FOOCKLE of Peru. 4 Grandchildren survive as well. She was preceded in death by her parents, three children, a sister, 2 brothers & one grandchild.

KLAPCZYNSKI, Xavier died 27 April 1907 in LaSalle, IL Source: Obituary Published In: The LaSalle Daily Tribune, 29 April 1907 OBIT/NOTES: The funeral of Xavier KLAPCZYNSKI who was found dead in bed Saturday morning, was held at nine o'clock this morning from the residence, corner of 5th and LaHarpe Streets (LaSalle), to St. Hyacinth's Church and then to St. Hyacinth's Cemetery. Rev. B. M. SKULIK celebrated high mass of requiem over the remains and also held short services at the grave. The Butcher's Association, of which the deceased was a member, attended the funeral in a body.

STARKEY, Ida Pearl died 28 May 1940 in People's Hospital, Peru, IL Source: Obituary Published In: LaSalle News-Tribune on 29 May 1940 OBIT/NOTES: Mrs. Ida Pearl STARKEY, 61, 102 Fruit St., Peru, died at 10:45 o'clock Sunday night in People's Hospital, Peru, ending an illness extended over a period of eight years. Mrs. Starkey, who had been a patient at the hospital on several occasions, entered the hospital about a week ago. A daughter of Felix and Lusella BRITTINGHAM, she was born in Missouri, June 8, 1882. She was married October 2, 1909 to Aubra W. STARKEY. Surviving are her husband and three children, Frances, (Mrs. Clair SCHELL), Harold and Adele, (Mrs. Howard CARTER). Two brothers, Walter BRITTINGHAM, Arlington, Leroy BRITTINGHAM, Los Angeles, Calif., two sisters, Mrs. Margaret HOGAN, Mrs. Bessie TALLEY, Princeton, Ind., and eight grandchildren also survive. Two sons, Walter and Ernest, preceded her in death. Funeral services are to be held 2 o'clock Wed. afternoon from the Kirk Funeral Home, Peru. In charge of the services will be the Rev. Thomas C. FLETCHER, pastor of the Utica Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
