George STARKEY and Alma COSBY/COLBY

GEORGE STARKEY

George and Almarinda (Crosby) Starkey are listed in the 1900 census for Center Twp, Gibson County, IN. They must have moved to IL between 1901 & 1925.

ALMA (COSBY/COLBY/CROSBY) STARKEY

Alma is listed in the 1926 LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle County, Illinois) City Directory as widow of George. At this time she was residing at 1715 Brewster Street, Peru, IL. Alma's maiden name was CROSBY on death certificate, COSBY in obituary & COLBY in another genealogy. I have since changed it to "CROSBY".

SHERMAN STARKEY

Sherman and his wife, Esther (BELLAMY) and two children are listed in the 1926 LaSalle-Peru (Illinois) City Directory. They were living at 1715 Brewster Street, Peru. This is the same address given for his mom during this year. He was working as a flagman at this time.
In the 1926 Peru City Directory, their address is listed as 1715 1/2 Brewster Street, Peru. Sherman is listed here as a laborer.

AUBRA WILLIAM "BOB" STARKEY

In the LaSalle-Peru (Illinois) City Directory of 1926, Aubra W. and his wife Ida P. (Brittingham) are listed at 102 Fruit Street, Peru with three children. His occupation at this time was a buffer at National Sheet Metal Company. In the Peru City Directory for the same year his name is spelled as "Aubrey". I am not sure of the actual spelling.

CLYDE W. STARKEY

Clyde W. and his wife Lola (Yearwood) are listed in the 1926 LaSalle-Peru, Illinois City Directory with three children. The family was living at 417 Peoria Street, Peru. His occupation at this time was a foreman at National Sheet Metal Company.

ARTHUR STARKEY

JESS E. STARKEY

Jesse and his wife Hattie (Maiden Unknown) are listed in the 1926 LaSalle-Peru (Illinois) City Directory No children are mentioned. Their residence is showed as 1017 Grant Street, Peru. His occupation was a foreman at Westclox Clock Company.
In the Peru City Directory for the same year, Jesse's wife name is listed as "Harriet", obviously the long version of "Hattie".

STARKEY, EZRA Wife, Grace. Engineer at National Sheet Metal Company, r. 1409 Center Street, Peru in the Peru 1926 City Directory In the Social Security Death Index he is listed as "Era" instead of "Ezra".

DOBIE STARKEY First name may be "Dovey".

MOLLIE STARKEY 1st name "Mary" in 1900 Gibson County, IN Census.
