The Wind

Walk towards me, your arms outstretched
Don't be afraid to speak
I will push the darkness back
If you hold my hand.

Close your eyes and bow your head
Wipe the image from your eyes
Clear your senses but for my shine
If you hold my hand.

Our hands entwined will catch the breeze
Turn the swings in our heads
Flowers will grow from dry ground
If you hold my hand.

Banish the demons that hold on your soul
I will not leave your side
The white queen will not fall
If you hold my hand.

The heat will never touch your flesh
The force will be gone
The sweat will be absent from your brow
If you hold my hand.

The fire will burn,
The moon will rise,
The children will laugh,
The wind will blow,
If you hold my hand.
