Acts 1:8--"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

My Heavenly Father, I am Your child for I believe in my heart that Jesus has been raised from the dead and I have confessed Him as my Lord. Jesus said, "How much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those that ask Him." I ask You now in the Name of Jesus to fill me with the Holy Spirit. I step into the fullness and power that I desire in the Name of Jesus. I confess that I am a Spirit-filled Christian. As I yield my vocal organs, I expect to speak in tongues for the Spirit gives me utterance in the Name of Jesus. Praise the Lord!"

We want you to understand that one should never focus on any physical manifestation. One must keep their eyes totally on the Lord Jesus Christ and not be concerned about what their prayer language sounds like. It is important to grasp the fact that the prayer language is not the same thing as the Gift of Tongues. The Gift of Tongues is always in conjunction with Interpretation and those two together are equal to prophecy. The prayer language is for edifying yourself, building yourself up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.
