Iota Tau's Girl of the Year
Iota Tau celebrated their Founder's Day on May 1, 1999. At this celebration it was announced that Lauren Ellington was the Girl of the Year for the 1998-1999 year.
(As the creator of this page it's weird to be writing about myself in the third person so I will continue in the first person from here on out.)
I joined Beta Sigma Phi in December of 1996. I have held the following offices:
Recording Secretary
City Council Representative
Program Chairwoman (2 years in a row)
Publicity Chairwoman
President
Next year I am honored to have been elected my chapter's Vice President. In that role I will also be our Social Chairwoman. I have already planned some wonderful socials for us and have posted a Social Events Page to share my ideas.
I can't express what Beta Sigma Phi and Iota Tau have brought to my life. I have experienced such love and understanding from my sisters. I have the most wonderful time with them and treasure every moment that we are together. They are my shoulder, my best friends, my teachers, and my family all rolled into one. I am honored and deeply touched that they would deem me worthy of this great gift of being named their Girl of the Year.
I will be posting a picture of myself and my chapter as soon as I can find one that we all agree to put on the web. So check back often for updates.
