HEART AND SOUL
By: Lawrence Langman
In my heart there lies an open book,
That no one else can see.
In my dreams there's only one place
For someone close to me.
As the pages turn one by one,
We get stronger everyday.
Girl I love you so much,
That there are no more words to say.
We've been through a lot of hard times,
Where we thought this love would end.
But girl we've made it this far,
Though all the thick and thin.
When we think the end is near,
Let's promise to ourselves,
That this love we give to each other,
We can't get from no one else.
When there is something on our minds,
Let's not keep it inside.
Let's talk it over, and work it out.
There's nothing we should hide.
For these years we've been together,
We've had alot of joy.
Bringing into this world,
Two sons we both adore.
With two boys, a girl,
Our lives are so complete.
We've scaled those walls to victory,
How could we claim defeat.
We have so many years ahead,
Lets cherish everyone.
And looking back to what we've done,
And what we've become.
Together we are one,
Let nothing block our way.
I'll dread that day to eternity,
That our love gets cast away.
OUT OF THE BLUE
By: Lawrence Langman
If you're lonely in the night,
Seek refuge by the fire's light.
Call upon the moon and the stars above,
Sprinkles of magical mystical love.
Feelings of electricity fills the air that you breathe.
Your heart's just apounding, so you try to leave.
Thru the brush and the trees, you venture to go.
You stop in your tracks, you can't break the hold.
You look down to see what's holding you,
But, surprise, there's nothing there.
A shock of terror runs through your spine,
A rush of standing hair.
In the shadows of fire and moonlight,
A figure appears out of the darkness in site.
Closer and closer the shadows grow nearer.
Then all of a sudden you can really see her.
This wasn't a monster nor a villain at large.
A beautiful creature before you, you saw.
It's funny how love can entrance you like this.
Even before that first dreaded kiss.
But all of a sudden, deep down inside.
The knots start collecting, and butterflies that fly.
Your heart's just apounding, and skipping the beats.
You look in her eyes, and know it's for keeps.
It's strange how that love can bring out such fear.
It brings laughter, and warmth, and even some tears.
But through it all, the battle now done.
Was a start of forever, and forever your one.
HAUNTING NIGHTS
By: Lawrence Langman
In a moonlit night so faraway.
As the fog rolled in, over dusty graves.
Howling wolves in the background cry.
Grieving loss of life that died.
Then one night, things had changed.
The wolves now cried, from haste, and pain.
An eerie gloom, fell over the rise.
The smell of death, thru the ground they rise.
Wanting flesh, and blood, they sought.
Unearthed graves, the smell of rot.
Walking forward, into the night.
Entering town, seeking light.
They smelleth blood in the air.
The victims unknowing, from whence they faired.
Into the manors, and houses they got.
Feasting, and eating, while corpses rot.
Nightfall had ended, and hence the cries.
Though morning had risen, now only bones lie.
