"Wow!! This really sounds good! Just like me and her!" A.J. said. Brian beamed, "See, I told ya! It's perfect, reminds me and you and Star!" Brian said. "What is this song called anyways?" A.J. asked. "It's called "Rough Boy" by: ZZ Top. Pretty cool huh?" Brian asked. "Yup. Hey you think they will play it for me, so I can dance with her?" he asked. "Oh yea, he will play anything you want him too. Well, come on!! Get your butt in there and ask her, before someone else get's to her!" Brian said getting out of the car. A.J. did the same, and they walked into the gymnasium doors.

~*In the ladies room*~

Shoot, why me?! Star thought kicking the trash can with her foot. "Hey,hey, hey, what's all the comotion about?" Jenny said walking in the ladies room. "Nothing!" she snapped. "Come on girl, I told you how he was!" Jenny said. "Jenny, please chill out on it! I like him, and he likes someone else! I guess it just wasn't ment to be." Star said saddly. "Well, I'm going to find Kevin. Stay in here and sulk all night, I'm going to have a good time with my boyfriend!" Jenny said and walked out of the ladies room. Maybe she is right, he does'nt know that I'm falling for him! I just can't help it, he is so sweet! Star thought looking into the mirror. She straightend herself up, and applied some lipgloss to her lips, then she looked in the mirror and kiss her hand and blew herself a kiss, then she walked out into the gym.

(Note: When you read this part of the story, you will see that it's like a dream to both of them, cause they are so much in love with each other. Just imagine this part of the story going in slow-mo:~)

~*Back into the gym (both of them)*~

~*Star*~

Star walked out of the bathroom, and made her way to the refreshment stand. She looked around for her crush, but didn't see him. Where is he at?! Oh geez, I hope he didn't leave! she thought still looking around. She only heard the beat of the next song coming on. Then she caught a glimpse of him standing near the edge of the dance floor, looking through the crowd for someone, until his eyes met hers. She automatically froze.

~*A.J.*~

He walked over to the DJ boothe and told the man to play number 3 on the ZZ Top cd, that Brian had let him borrow. Then he walked over to the edge of the dance floor and scanned the crowd. He finally caught her eye. She was across the dance floor looking beautiful. He started walking towards her, as the beat of the song came over the speakers. He never took his eyes off her.

~*Star and A.J.*~

Both of them, not taking their eyes off of each other, walked through the crowd that was already on the dance floor. They finally met each other half way in the middle of the dance floor. All eyes were on them as this happened, but they didn't seem to notice anyone in the room. A.J. took Star into his arms as the song that was playing started singing the words. "What in the world has come over me? I ain't got a chance, as you will see." the voice sang. He pulled her close to him, and stroked her back, as they swayed to the music. Star was in heaven, all she could do was look into his beautiful brown eyes. He didn't even have to say a word. She knew exactally what he was thinking. She didn't even have to say a word as she looked into his eyes, he knew what she was thinking too. God, she is beautiful! Please God, don't let me screw this up! he thought. Then he made up his mind, as the music played. He wanted her as his girlfriend. The magical moment, got even more magical. Both of them stopped swaying to the music. Then he said something that Star wasn't even expecting he said,"Be with me always? Will you be my girlfriend?" She looked into his eyes, and answered, "Yes, I will be your girlfriend." They stood there and stared into each others eyes. Then A.J. brought his fingers up to her face and pulled her into a passionate kiss. The kiss lasted for what seemed like an eternity. They were in there own little world. A.J. couldn't believe that he had found someone with so much class, but still she wanted to be with him! Star could'nt believe that the new rough boy in school was her boyfriend, but he wasn't so tough, he was so romantic, good-looking, and sweet. They couldn't have gotten more lucky to find someone as special as they were!
