We all sat there and talked for a while. "So, why do you call your best friend Goobey?" A.J. asked. "Well, its a long story." I said. "You remember when we first met online, Lanie? That was so cool, we just clicked!" Jenny said smiling. "Yes, and you remember the time when that Kenny guy punted me? I got him back for that!" I said laughing.. "What did you do?" Brian asked. "I turned him on and then punted him off! Ha! He was so mad at me! He tried to punt me everytime, but I turned my im's off!" I said cracking up. "Oh, Poor Kenny!" Goobey said.. "Goobey, that guy is such a jerk! He dissed my man alot!" I said looking at A.J. "He was dissing me?!" he asked. "Yes, he said you found you a new boyfriend. He got the peeps all mad, even me! He even said you ruined the group!" I said looking at him. "Well, he's just jealous that you liked me instead of him." he said smiling.. "Yep! You should see her in her room at night! She will just look at her posters of......." "Goobey! Dont embarrass her!" Stacy shouted. "Well..........he has the right to know!" Jenny shouted back.. "Right to know what?" Kevin asked.. By now my face was turning two shades of red. "Well, she is always wondering where you are, or what youre doing! She talks to your picture everynight before she goes to bed. She will sit and stare at the tv singing "How do I know when it's love, I cant tell you but it last forever!" And then she will say, "I wished I could keep you forever Baby!" And she will be looking up at your picture when she says that!" Goobey said laughing. "She does?!" everyone asked at once. "Oh yes! And that is not the end of it! She............" "Goobey please, you are embarrassing me!!" I shouted. "Sorry, girl, I'll shut up. "Jenny said. A.J. kept on looking over at me, after she said all that. He would smile at me, and I would smile back. I wonder what he is thinking about right now? I thought. "So, does anyone want to go dance some more?" Nick asked.. "I would love to!" Lisa said jumping up. Me, A.J.,Brian, Stacy, Howie, Jenny, Kevin, and Sarah just sat their and talked for a while. "So, Lanie, you never told me why you call her Goobey!" A.J. said. "Ok, see me and Jenny met online about five years ago. I needed a good Vice President, after the first one of the newsletter Bailed out on me! Well, like Goobey said, we just clicked at first. Then one day she called me Goober! I laughed about that for a week. I just started calling her Goobey because we would always talk about stupid stuff and laugh and giggle. So that is why I call her Goobey!" I said looking at Jenny and smiling. "Well, that is a cool nickname, Jenny!" Kevin said. "Thanks Kev." So we all got out on the dance floor, and danced a few fast songs. "I have to run to the ladies room!" I announced. I ran to the ladies room and powderd my nose.

He's going to leave tonight and forget me, and I will never see him again! I thought suddenly. Oh God, I wished I could keep him forever! I was so deep in thought that I didnt hear the girls come in. "Hey Lanie, I think A.J. really..... What's wrong girl?" Stacy asked.. "Something just dawned on me!" "We know you love him!" Lisa said. "No, that's not it you guys! They are leaving tonight, I'll never see him again!" I said. I started to cry. "Shush, dont do this to yourself girl. He really likes you, I can tell! And maybe, just maybe there is a chance you guys can start going out or something!" Goobey said trying to comfort me. "Oh, God, I can not see that happening! I cant face him anymore! It will only hurt me!" I said. "Lanie, please come back out there? I know its going to hurt, but look at it this way, youre having a blast together!" Sarah said. "I cant, I have to go!" I said. I turned to leave the bathroom, I was crying so bad. "You cant just leave Lanie! What are we going to tell him?" Sarah asked. "Tell him the truth, I dont care!" I shouted and ran out of the bathroom.
