Everybody just stood there for a few minutes, just not saying anything. Then Sarah spoke up. "What was that all about?" "Selena!" Donnie said. "The singer?" she asked. "She's not just some singer. She was Lanie's best friend in the whole world." Donnie said. "Really, so what happend to her?" she asked. "See, Selena was murdered about three years ago, and Lanie was there when it happend. She died in Lanie's arms. See, Lanie was in her band 3 years ago. But after she died, Lanie just didnt pursue it. I guess she is scared." Donnie said. "Oh God, I didnt know that. She must have been hurt!" Sarah said. "She thinks she talks to her. She loved her like she loves Jenny girl." he said. "Yeah, I remember seeing it on the news. I knew I have seen her somewhere before!" Brian spoke up. "Yeah, you should have seen Selena's husband, he was freaking out!!" "I bet, he must have loved her alot!" Sarah said. "Yea, he loved Lanie and Selena, but Lanie, only as a younger sister." Donnie said. "I think I'm going to go talk to her. Try to calm her down." Donnie said. "No!! Let me, please!" Sarah said. "Ok, and would you tell her I am sorry?" "Sure thing!" Sarah said.

Knock-Knock! "Lanie? Are you in there?" Sarah said. She didnt answer, so she knocked again. "Come in!" Lanie said. She walked in to find her on the bed crying hysterically. "What do you want?!" Lanie said. "Lanie, I just wanted to come up and tell you how sorry I am, I didnt know all about her." Sarah said. She didnt say anything but just cried. "Lanie, please dont do this to yourself! It's not good for your legs." Sarah pleaded. "My legs are fine!" she said. She sat up and looked at me. "Sarah, she was my best friend, a sister, someone to lean on!" she said. "I know, I know, it's not fair is it? To have someone you love so much be taken away from you in the blink of an eye?" she said. "Yes, and I'm sorry about being such a child the past couple of days. Alot has happend!" Lanie said. "Like what?" she asked. "A.J. doesnt want to date me because it might screw up his career!" she started crying again. Sarah went over to the bed and put her hand on her shoulder. "Lanie, I'm sorry! Did he tell you that?" "Yes, he did. And it's hurts!" "Yes, I know. Would you like for me to talk to him?" "If you want, but he wont listen! Just like all other men, A BIG DUMB JERK!!" Lanie said and started crying hysterically again. "Lanie, calm down, he is not a jerk. I think he is just scared, that's all!!" she said. "You think so?" "Yes, I know so! But I will talk to him! Would you like to me to stay up here with you?" "No, you go be with Brian. I hear you two are getting along! So whats up?" she asked. "Well, we like each other, but no definate decision is being made on our relationship." "What about the others?" "Well, Lisa and Nick are being Lisa and Nick! Crazy they are! Stacy and Howie went out last night, they had a good time, but it was after you came home from the hospital. And Jenny and Kevin fell asleep on the couch last night! They looked so cute! I guess they was too pooped to party!" she said laughing. "There is only one problem though! Me and A.J. arent together!" she sat there in a daze. "I think this will come to pass. I think he will come around!" she said. "Well, can you leave me alone, I think I need the time by myself?" Lanie asked. "Sure girl, I understand." Sarah said. She walked out of the room to let her think.

A.J. just walked in Lanie's house when Sarah and Brian bursted in. "ALEXANDER JAMES MCLEAN, HOW DARE YOU?!!!!!!" Sarah shouted at him. "What, What did I do?" he asked. "YOU KNOW DAMN GOOD AND WELL WHAT YOU DID!!!" "Please Sarah, calm down!" Brian said trying to restrain her from hitting A.J. "No, I dont, I just walked in! I swear! Where is Lanie?" he asked looking around. "I DONT THINK SHE WANTS TO SEE YOU, OR TALK TO YOU AT ALL!! AND I WOULDNT BLAME HER, AFTER WHAT YOU SAID TO HER LAST NIGHT AT THE HOSPITAL!! IF I WASNT SUCH A LADY, I WOULD CLOBBER YA!!!" Sarah screamed. "Please, I need to speak to her!" he said. "NO!!! YOU GO ONE STEP NEAR HER, I WILL CLOBBER YA!!" "Sarah, please, let him go up and talk to her?!" Brian pleaded. "GEES!!!!! FIRST SELENA AND NOW A.J.!!!! HOW MUCH HEARTACHE CAN SHE TAKE IN ONE DAY?!!!" Sarah shouted. "Just who is Selena? Where is Lanie?" A.J. asked. "MAYBE YOU SHOULD ASK HER, SINCE SHE IS NOT TALKING TO ANY OF HER FRIENDS, AND UP IN HER BED ROOM CRYING HER EYES OUT BECAUSE OF BAD MEMORIES, i TELL YA SHE DOESNT DESERVE THIS!!" Sarah said throwing her hands up in the air walking off. Brian and A.J. just stood there in silence for a minute. "If you want to know where she is, she is up in her bed room, upstairs." Brian said. "Thanks man!" A.J. said and started walking up stairs to face Lanie.
