He pulled out a long white dress, with god sequence on the top and around the bottom. Everyone just sat there with their mouths open and their eyes wide with marbles. "Ohmigod! Abraham, is that for me?!" I shreiked. "Yes mia, this is from Selena!" he said excited. "When?.....How?........." I stuttered trying to find the words. "She finished it two nights before she died. She was going to give it to you, it was in the backseat of her car, we found it with a note taped on it." he said. "Here, read it!" Chris said. "Ok, it says. Dear Lanie, I made you something special, I just finished tonight. You can wear it on any occassion. Love Sel." I read. "She was special to you, now I see why you are so upset." A.J. said. Just then we made eye contact with him and just held it there. "Yes, it is." I said breaking the eye contact. "Hey Lanie, you remember the first time I told you she started singing?" Abe asked. "Yes, I do, why?" I asked. "Come here mia, and sit down." he said. I walked over and sat down by Abraham. Abe and Chris got out their guitars and started strumming. "Awwwww, You're Mine!!" I said. "Ok, mia, you start it off!" Abe said. "Me......no I can't!" "Oh come on Lanie! We wont laugh we promise!" Jenny said. I looked over at her and smiled. "Ok, Start it off Abe!" I said. You should pursue your career!" Jenny said. "Jenny, it's just too painful for me! I'm not what I used to be, I'm a...." I was interrupted. "A choriographer!" the girls shouted all at once. Everyone was starring at me now. "What?!" "Lanie, can we talk in private?" Abraham asked. "Sure!" I said. I followed him into the dinning room. "Please, sit!" he said. I sat down across from him. "What did you want to talk to me about?" I asked. "Your friend Jenny called me last night. I dont know how she got the number, but she did. She told me that you was in love. I understand, that it is with that young man in your living room?" he asked. I just looked down sad. "Well, and I also understand that he is a musician, to, am I right?" he asked. I just nodded, sadly. "Jenny told me what has happened in the last 24 hours. About him touring. And he just breaking up with his ex-girlfriend. And how he turned you down. But you know what mia? He cares about you." I looked up. "No he doesnt!" I cried. "Yes Mia, he does! Think of it this way. Any other man wouldnt come back after what he said. And I can tell, that he does. It might even be love I see in those eyes of his! You never know!" he said. "But, I could never be with him, daddy. He tours alot, and I would never get to see him!" I cried. "Oh, not so, Mia! There is a way!" I looked up real fast. "What way?" "The contest! Do it Mia, it's your only chance to be with him!" he said. "I cant, it hurts me too much! Reminds me of Selena!" I cried. "Lanie, that was your voice! Not Selena's! You are special too, you've got it! You have that spark, just like her! I tell you this though. She would be proud if you just tried it!" he said. "But, I cant sing by myself! I hyperventalate!" I said. "You can do it Mia. You have friends that sing right?" he asked. "Yes, I do! Jenny and Sarah sing." I said. "Well, you get them together and do it!" he said punching my arm. I sat there and thought about it for a moment. "So, will you think about it?" he asked. "Yes, I'll think about it!" I said smiling. "Well, lets get back in there!" he said getting up. I got up and we walked back into the living room. I had alot to think about. I sure Hope I sleep well.

I was standing in front of the window looking out at the water. It was so beautiful, all blue, and clear. I wonder if my little dolphin friends are going to be out today? I sighed. I thought about last night, and how I made such a fool of myself! I am so embarrased. I can't even face anyone today! And I have a class at eight! I started to get ready, thinking about the contest. What if we do win this thing, and he still doesnt want to be with me?! What if we dont? Then I will really be depressed!! What would we call ourselves? God, how would we get the music?! I thought. There was so many questions at this point, that I didnt want to even think about it right now. I had to get to class. I packed my leotard and shorts, water bottle, towel, tapes and cd's, and a stick of bubble gum. (Dont ask) I walked downstairs past the living room and looked in. On the couch Lisa and Nick was watching cartoons, and laughing. I just rolled my eyes, and headed into the kitchen. Jenny and Kevin was in there making breakfast. "Mmmmmmm, smells good! Whatcha cooking, Kevin?" I asked. "Awwwww, you're up! I'm making bacon, eggs, toast, and any beverage you want!" Kevin said smiling. He had an apron on that said "Kiss the cook". "No way! I'm not kissing you!" I said laughing. I pointed to his apron. "No? But I will!" Jenny said, standing on her tipitoes to give him a big kiss. "You guys better stop, or you wont even make it through breakfast!" I said laughing. They just grinned at me. I looked from Kevin to Jenny. "No way! You guys didnt?!" I said shocked. "I aint telling!" "Me either!" They both said at the same time. RING-RING~~!! "Hello?" I answered the phone. "Hey girl, it's Donnie!" You feeling better?" he asked. "Hey, what's up butt-boy! Yes I am feeling better!" I said. I looked over at Kevin and Jenny, they was laughing at me. "Must be Donnie. She never calls anyone else that!" she said laughing. "So, we got practice today or what?" he asked. "Yes, but I am eating! I'll be there in about 30 minutes! Damnit!!" I said laughing. "Ok, ok! Bye!" he hung up before she could say anything else. "Food, Food, Food!!" Nick and Lisa ran into the kitchen. "Nick hold on! Let go of that! Come on Nick, damn!" Kevin said. "No way, you guys will hog it all!!" Nick whinned. "Ok, that's it! Nicky boy, your getting on my nerves!!" I shouted trying not to laugh. Nick looked all surprised at me. "Well you got on my nerves last......." he was stopped by Kevin, "Ok you two lets eat!" he said. We all sat down to eat, but then i had to go to my class. So, I grabbed my keys, and headed out the door.
