"What I am saying is that if you have the time to come by the office today to sign some papers, Shandi can be your adoptive daughter tonight! She can move in with you tonight!" "Ok, I will follow you back." Donnie said. They got into their cars, and went back to the house to wait for Lanie.

She reached over and pushed a button to the intercom. "You can bring Shandi in now, Randy." A few minutes later, Shandi came running in. "Mommy!!" she ran over to me and hugged me. "Shandi girl!!" I hugged her with more love, than anything in this world. We got her things, and we got into my car, and headed to the house to tell everyone the surprise.
