When the slow dance started A.J. asked me:"Who was that guy?" "He's my ex-boyfriend, No Biggie!" I said rolling my eyes. He saw the look of hurt on my face and pulled me away and looked at me. "That wasnt just an ex-boyfriend, what happend?" he asked looking right through my thoughts. I hesitated :"Well you see, he wanted to have sex with me and I wasnt ready yet, we went out for a year, and he was cheating on me the whole time!" I looked down at my shoes. "No, dont do that." he said lifting up my chin with his finger. "I cant help it. It hurts, so bad, it gets to me, right here." I said pointing to my heart. "I know, I just broke up with Marrissa, she was just using me for my money!" he said just staring at me. "You like to do that, dont ya?" I asked. "Doing what?" he asked me. "You sure do like staring at me, O not that I dont mind, just makes me a little nervous." I said looking down again. "Ok, I will stop looking at you." he sounded hurt. "Nooooo, I mean you dont have to, I just never had a guy stare at me the way you do!" I said. "Well, that usually means, that I like someone when I stare!" he said laughing. "I still cant believe I am dancing with you!" I said looking up. "I've always dreamed about it, but never thought it would come true!" I said looking up at him. I just wanted to hold him real tight and never let go! "Hey Lanie, A.J., the song has ended!" Brian said laughing. We broke apart, and he lead me to a table, and we all sat down next to our favorite BSB. We sat in silence for a few minutes, when Nick spoke up to break the silence:"Well aint this cozy? Us, you girls, the lights, the romantic music, the........" "Nick, shut up, go play in the traffic or something!" Howie shouted. "You have way too much sugar for one night!" Brian said laughing. "I have not had any sugar tonight!" Nick whinned. "O, what about them M and M's you had just an hour ago, just before you started to curse us with your stupid little spell?" Howie said. "And what about all the coke you drank before getting in the car?" Kevin agged it on. "Shut up you guys, I'm not being that bad, am I?!" Nick protested. They all looked at him and smiled trying not to laugh. "Yes!" the all said. "So, Lanie, what did you guys work on today?" Stacy asked, getting Nick out of trouble with the guys. "Well, we worked on a couple of songs for the resital next week. I think its coming out preety good!" I said.. "So, is Donald helping with the kids pretty good?" Lisa pipped up. "Yep, he is real good with them." I said. "Who is Donald?" A.J. asked with a jealous tone in his voice. "Oh, thats my cousin! He used to be in a group too!" I said. "Oh, which one?" Howie asked. "New Kids On The Block." Sarah said. "You mean Donnie is your cousin?!" Brian asked. "Yep, he's an actor now! but he misses the group alot!" I said. "I am sure he does, they was very famous!" Nick shouted. "I think he is going to be here tonight, with his girl friend!" Lisa said. "Cool I didnt know that!" I said. "He said he would be a little late though." Everything got silent Until another fast dance came on.
