THIS MONTH'S NEWS LETTER

For December's Newsletter we will be talking about skaters and those virtual pets everyone has. SKATERS: Skaters are spikey haired, jean short wearing skateboarders. Some people think skaters are cool because of the cool tricks they do with their skateboards. They also like skaters because they say they wear cool shoes and clothes. Others hate skaters because they say they wax curbs and leave grind marks on concrete. They say they all have the same boring spikey hair, and all wear the same pants and shirts everyday. They also say they take stupid finger boards every where. Fingerboards are miniture sized skateboards that skaters use to pull off stunts with. I mean no offense towards skaters. This was not my opinion towards skaters. I think everybody should be treated equal no matter how they dress, how they act or what hobbies they have. These were all opinions from students at my school. WHAT'S WITH THOSE VIRTUAL PETS?: Virtual pets are just like real pets they must be fed, washed, played with and displined or they will either die or run away. They are small enough to be put in your pocket. They have recently come out with a talking virtual pet. Most schools do not allow them, however some do. Most teachers think they are annoying because of the noises they make when they have to go to the bathroom, be fed, etc. I think that virtual pets are okay, but I do not think they should be allowed at school because it's a toy and toys are not allowed at school.
