Story 86

Hey what's up. I just wanted to let you know about the time we decided to trip in school. It was our senior year and me and my 3 friends dropped 2 hits of paper each. We were psyched about this but I was a little nervous considering my mom is an english teacher at the school. We dropped right before lunch in study hall and it was incredible. The hardest part was trying to act "normal" to everyone else. After lunch, one of my not-so-good friend thought I was high by the way I was acting. I had spanish that period and the teacher surprised us with a practice regents exam. I took it and I got a 100. (On the actual final later that month I only got a 92...hmmm) After that class was the highlight of the entire day...LOCKER CLEAN OUT. Since it was one of the last days of school we had to empty out all of the shit out of our lockers "quickly and quietly." It was mass chaos. We were throwing shit everywhere, going nuts. After that we had the most adventurous class of them all....ecology. All my fellow trippers were in that class and we knew what we were in for. It was the day of the notorious oiutdoor scavenger hunt. That really translated to playing outside for 2 hours. As we anxiously sat in our seats waiting to go outside and play, our teacher announced that there was to be 5 groups with a group leader for each one. As he uncovered the names on the board, I almost dropped dead when I saw my name as a group leader. Keep in mind I was TRIPPING FACE. It turned out not to be too bad, and we got a whopping 5 out of 20 points of our final that day. The most incredibly beautiful moment was when we were all standing in an open field. It was sunny but there were also clouds in the sky. So it was amazing to watch the clouds' shadows on the ground, and as the sun moved the shadows seemed to be chasing after us. Our teacher must have thought we were mental running away from the shadows. It turned out not to be too bad, and we got a whopping 5 out of 20 points of our final that day.
