Tracks:

1. Twisted Elegance

2. The Velvet Rope -- The title track, which features violinist
Vanessa Mae along with The United Children's
Choir. Strong in lyrics and strong in song.
Definately one of the album's most powerful
                             track.

3. You -- Samples War's 'The Cisco Kid' and introduces
another vocal style which Janet has never
done before. Very upbeat, danceable track
                             and mis-interpreted in lyric.

4. Got 'til its gone -- Samples Joni Mitchell's 'Big Yellow Taxi' and
features Joni vocals as well as rapper Q - Tip.
One of the funkiest R&B/Soul/Hip-Hop/Rap tracks
that has ever been done. Perfect combonation.
Janet, Joni Mitchell and Q - tip, a perfect
                             match.

5. Speaker Phone

6. My need -- A funky mid-tempo song, sampling Diana Ross'
'Love Hangover' and Ashford and Simpson's
'You are all i need to get by'. Janet is
delivering the goods on this track with
                             beautiful soul/r&b vocal style.

7. Fasten Your Seatbelt

8. Go Deep -- This is one of the funkiest tracks that Janet
has ever recorded. It is a feel good song,
with definate strong vocals and upbeat beats.
Very funky and totally hip-hop, but somewhat
                             '80s style.

9. Free Xone -- Very house and techno style, very unlikely to
be released as a single. However many folks
will be dancing to this track in clubs around
the world. The song is focused on the realtion-
ship between men and women, men and men, women
and women. Not however what people make it out
to be. Janet fights as she fought in 'Rhythm
Nation' us coming all together, no matter what
our sexual preference is or our ethnic background.

10. Memories

11. Together Again -- One of the most spiritual and mostly celebrated
songs on the album. Very techno and house
oriented, however with a pop/soul/r&b/funk to it,
as Janet is so well known for.

12. Online

13. Empty -- Vocally and lyrically, this is so much different
from what Janet has ever done before. Definately
                             very soul oriented.

14. Full

15. What about -- This is probably the most hard-core song Janet has
ever done. Harder then 'Black Cat' and 'This time',
more aggressive, violent shouts and adult oriented.
This song is definately worth an award by itself.

16. Every Time -- Janet's best ballad due date. A definate classic.
Very emotional, with mellow and smooth vocals.
                             A definate tear-breaker.

17. Tonights the night -- Controversial. Remake of Rod Stewarts 70's hit,
                             however much better.

18. I get lonely -- Soul/R&B at its best. Janet definately makes the
best soul/r&b tracks of our time. Included is a
little funk and lots of emotion. This is in a
category of its own, as 1993 janet.'s (Anytime,
Anyplace). One would never expect a track like
this from an artist who is so well known to produce
one of the most successful pop tracks of our time
(i.e. Nasty, Escapade, If, Together Again)

19. Rope burn -- Another definite one of a kind. Lyrically, this
song is leaving everyone speechless, artistically
and musically, a sensual song done in tradition of
                             Janet's infamous love ballads.

20. Anything -- A soulful/r&b classic. Love the vocals, love the
music, love the moaning and yearning.

21. Sad

22. Special -- A feel good tune, which is definately a good song
to have been put at the end of the album, because
it demonstrated that Janet has finally reached the
point in her life, in which she realizes that she
is special too. However, we Janet fans have been
knowing this for over a decade.

23. Hidden Track -- Can't be stopped-
soul/r&b oriented, with a similar message as to
janet's 1993 'new agenda'. Very harlem like sound
                             and theme.
