O'Neill and the SG-1 team are evacuating from a battle on a hostile planet. when Stargate malfunctions, Teal'c and Daniel make it through, but O'Neill and Dr. Carter find themselves trapped near the Stargate on an unknown planet. it is just sheer ice, O'Neill is badly hurt with internal injuries and a broken leg,

Dr. Carter has to try and dig the nearby gate out of the ice and find a way to make it work. Meanwhile Teal'c and Daniel are trying to figure out where their friends might be. They have to figure out which one of a million planetsthey are on, and soon before they freeze to death.
