Mark is horrorified when he pulls off his attackers mask-it's Ben! He dissapears into the woods desperate to find Meg before Ben does.
Back at the house, Casey enters the kitchen, where he finds a trail of blood. Shocked, he follows the path out of the house and into the woods while Meg, Tim and Gabi stay close behind. The bloody trail ends where the road forks, so the group splits up. Meg hears someone calling her name, its Mark, he comes stumbling out of the woods, then falls down at her feet with hook in his back. Mark tries to tell Meg that Ben is the killer, but Meg begs him to keep quiet so he can save his strenght. Meg calls for Casey and Gabi, Tim attends to Mark, who says to Tim that Ben is the killer. With the news out, Mark dies.
An outraged Meg refuses to believe Tim's accusations, but Tim insists that is what he heard. Casey and the others find a trail of blood, possibly from the killer and they follow it. They are all stunned when they find the masked man already dead. They remove his mask only to find Grogan. Tim is still not convinced that Grogan is the killer. Meg points out that he has the same wound in his calf that he gave to the killer. Exhausted, they all think the nightmare is over, not knowing Ben is lurking nearby. The group mourns the death of Mark and breath easier because they think the killer is dead. Meanwhile, Ben sits in the woods cleaning the blood of his hands.
Ben arrives at the house aghast when informed of the murders and Grogans guilt. Tim accuses Ben, but Meg tells him to lay off. More than ready to leave they board Ben's boat and take off.
Olivia begs for Caitlins forgivness. Annie notes that Caitlin is moved by her mothers words. Now Caitlin blames Gregory for the loss of her baby.
Cole takes Caitlin to Tyus's office for a checkup and waits by her side. When Tyus comes in Caitlin tells him she doesn't want to see the same doctor as her mother. Caitlin doesn't know what to do and calls Annie for help. She rushes in to Tyus's office claiming she has severe abdominal pains.
In Sunset Beach, the survivors report the murders to the police. Tim tells Ricardo about Marks last words, but it seems Ricardo doesn't believe him. Later Ben remebers killing Mark. Meg has a bad dream about the killer in whiich she tells Ben, he gets mad and rushes off to the Deep.

Week of January 12:

Friday:
Meg fights for her life when the killer holds her down. Tim rushes in to help her and gets knocked out. Meg continuse to fight with the killer. Meanwhile on Grogans boat Casey and Sean find explosives in the engine room, realizing there is a bomb on the boat and is set to go off any second they all rush off the boat. Mark confesses his true feelings for Gabi. They decide to go back to the house. Meg hits the killer with a frying pan loong enough for her to wake up Virginia and Tim, but the killer soon regains conciousness and grabs agian. Luckily Mark and Gabi rush inside and Mark fends off the killer, he runs out of the house and Mark follows. They get into a fight and Mark gets pinned down, just before the killer was going to stab him, Mark pulls off the mask revealing Ben's face... or is it really Ben?
Thursday:
Olivia goes back to her house to get the rest of her belongings. Gregory finds her there and thinks she is there to stay. Olivia says she isn't. Then Alex shows up and tells them that she is leaving for the Gulf. On the island Virginia and Vanessa get into a big disscusion about Micheal. Virgina tells Vanessa she will keep her space from them from now on. The killer starts bashing the hook through the door and Meg tries to fight him off. Soon the killer has her in his grasp, she gets away. Then she accidentally falls down the stairs. Micheal and Tim find the ship on the other side of island. They try to start it up not knowing there is a bomb on the boat. Micheal goes off to find Vanessa and Virginia, the others stay on the boat to try and start it up. Micheal finds Vanessa and carries her back to the boat. Tim and Virginia go to find Meg. Meg gets up from the stairs and runs to the kitchen, the killer follows her. Virginia goes to the kitchen only to find Meg and the killer wrestling. The killer knocks Virginia out and holds Meg down holding a butcher knife over her head.
Wensday:
Gregory goes over to Annie's house to find Olivia and try to convince her to come home. She refuses, but Gregory thinks she will come home sooner or later. On Terror Island Meg and Vanessa go off to find Micheal and Casey, hoping the killer hasen't found them first. Vanessa's flashlight ran out of batteries so she headed back to the house not knowing Meg wasn't behind her. Meg hears noises in the bushes and figures its Mark, it was the killer. Then Mark shows up and tells Meg he will go back to the house with her. Suddenly Tim shows up, they start arguing. Mark runs away and Meg goes off to find him. Vanessa wanders off and gets turned around. She falls off a cliff, and gets knocked out. When she regains consiousness she climbs back up the cliff with a soar ankel. Than Virginia shows up, at first Vanessa was afraid. She had a knife in her hand and was aiming it to her head. Meg goes back to the house, not knowing the killer is following her. Nobody is there. The killer locks the door and follows Meg upstairs. Meg knows the killer is in the house and is following her, so she locks the door to the study. Then when she thinks he is gone, she gets up to the door and listens for any noise, then the killer stabs the hook in the door nearly reaching Meg's head.
Tuesday:
Cole shows up at the diner where Annie and Caitlin are talking, Caitlin was going to tell Cole the truth about her baby but Annie tells her she shoulden't for her own sake. On the island Amy starts interrogating Mark of killing Jade because they found a bloody hook in Marks bag. Mark runs out of the house to find the killer. Micheal and Casey go after him. They all split up to find some supplies to light a fire. The killer turns off all the lights and goes after Meg and Vannessa. Meanwhile... Annie covers for Caitlin by telling Cole that they were talking about their wedding. Bette tells Gregory he should not try to get costody of Olivia's baby.
Monday:
Annie figures out that Caitlin isn't really pregnant. She sympathizes Caitlin thinking it will get her closer to owning the Dechanel jewels. On the island Vanessa screams bloody murder, literally, when she finds Jade under the bushes. Everyone rushes to her and they also see Jade and they try to figure out what to do with her body. When they get back to the house Meg tells everyone she thinks it was Grogan, Tim then rushes in and tells her thats out of the question, Grogan left the island. Amy is totally freaked out and is jumpy with every movement. She then says that it could be one of them that killed Jade when they were hallucinating. Casey finds Meg's engagement ring in Jade's pocket. The killer is lurking outside watching them. Cole runs into Ricardo at The Deep, and Ricardo questions him, but agian, about Jade. Cole denied seeing her, and rushes off to find Caitlin.

Week of January 5:

Friday:
Caitlin meets Rachel under the pier and Rachel tells her she doesn't want to give up her baby, Caitlin reassures her that she can take good care of their baby. Rachel agrees and takes the money, than her boyfriend shows up and demands $10,000 also. They get into a big arguement and Annie shows up in time to tell Caitlin that the couple are scam-artisits. The couple split, and Annie finds out Caitlin is not pregnant. On Terror Island, Jade is killed by the killer and buried with leaves and branches. Sean suggests a game of truth or dare, and Meg realises that she lost her engagement ring. Vannessa and Micheal escape outside to be alone, and Virginia finds some way to spoil it. While looking for her ring, Meg stumbles upon the killer. Vanessa finds the body of Jade.
Thursday:
Gregory catches Caitlin looking for money, he asks what is for, she says its for her wedding gown. She is on her way to meet Rachel, when Annie shows up, and tells her she knows that she is having infertility problems Caitlin denies it, she told Annie it was for a friend. On Terror Island Meg hallucinates Ben coming at her with a pair of sicssors. Gabi has visions of her father. Jade goes outside to find some canned goods and the killer chases her around with an ax, just when she was about to be murdered she tears off his mask and says "you!" Gregory goes to visit Olivia and he sees a picture of their baby. Olivia is definate that she is going to go through with the divorce, Gregory thinks otherwise. Annie catches Cole in Ben's office at The Deep.
Wensday:
Caitlin offers to pay $10,000 dollars for Rachels mothers operation and take care of her baby. She tells Rachel to meet her under the pier in 2 hours. Caitlin goes to Cole's to get the money, Cole sees her and tells her that someone stole all their money. So Caitlin decides to steal the money from her father, when she is in his office with the money in walks Gregory. Meanwhile at the island Micheal tries to calm Vanessa down. Soon everyone is having hallucinations, Amy thinks Sean has a knife in his hand and is going to stab her, Mark imagines there are poisonous snakes all over, and then Micheal remebers how he shot Virginia's husband. Annie tries to get information on Olivia and her baby so she goes to visit Dr. Tyus Robinson.
Tuesday:
Caitlin enters the adoption clinic, and she speaks to the woman there, she says getting a newborn will take a year, at least, when she leaves she meets a young pregnant woman outside crying, they talk and the woman says she can't have her baby because her mother is sick and need $10,000 for an operation. Catlin tells her she can help her. Meanwhile at Bette's house Eddie finds the tape of Cole and Jade. Sean and Mark played a hoax on the people at the house on the island, then he creates a Ouija board, Meg asks it if Ben will be there tonight, it said yes! Jade goes outside to find herbs and she is confronted by Grogan with an ax, he warns her to be carefull. Meg accidentally leaves her engagement ring in the kitchen while washing her hands. The killer enters in the kitchen and poisons there soup. Tim and Amy show up at the island. After they eat the soup Tim thinks he sees blood running down Megs face, and Vanessa looks in the mirror and she sees her face deformed and decrepid looking.
Monday:
The Surf Central crowd arrives at the island and to Megs astonishment the house Ben gave her was a huge old mansion. Everyone is unpacking and they can't find Mark. Later he shows up and tells them he had done some reaserch on the island. He told them a big elaborate story about a group of friends that went there for a New Years bash, and every single one of them were killed. Mark then challenges them to a hunt to supposivly find the "murder weapon," they agree. Meg and Gabi find a hanging doll in the basement and rush outside, Virginia figures out that Jade isn't a real caterer, so she offfers to keep her secret and help her make the food, if she does something for her in return. Sean goes down to the basement and he encounters the killer, they fight and Sean tears off his mask and says, "its you". Meg continues to search for Sean when he stumbles up from the basement, pale as a ghost, he falls over, and Meg sees the knife in his back. Meanwhile... back in Sunset Beach Catlin sees Dr. Robinson, and she tells her there are other options to have kids, she then ventures to the adoption clinic.
