Through all of this, Marx has managed to make himself very happy with the life has lived and is still living. He worked his way up from playing tunes in his basement to being a singer, songwriter, composer, and producer, and has worked with over one dozen famous artists in the world. And if one day Richard sould drop off the end of the Earth and no one will hear from him again, he's got millions of fans around the world to listen to his music and tell the tale. And maybe in 20 years time, Richard Marx's sons will have their names known as well...time will tell, but if those boys are anything like their father, we WILL being hearing their names again! And if you're in a mellow mood, sitting next to the person whom you adore with his/her arms around you, with a Marx ballad playing in the background, it'll make that moment all the more memoriable. How do I know? Well...plenty of couples have already said it and plenty of married couple have already used Marx's ballads for thier weddings songs. Kinda tell you something does it?

On August 21st 1998, I met Richard Marx after his preformance at Trump Marina in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He was so sweet, but also very tired. But not too tired to have his picture taken with me and sign me an autograph. If you think you might not get to meet your favorite artist, look at me, and think again.....
