I was born in Ghent, Belgium. There, I started school and learned French and Flemish.

In my childhood my family moved to Argentina where I learned Spanish. We lived near the city of Buenos Aires.

After I graduated from University  [UNLP], in Radio Communications, I came to the US (probably one of the best choices I made in my life). I first lived in New Jersey, then in Warwick, a beautiful small village in New York, where I lived with my dog Flicka, a wonderful 7 years old female Golden Retriever.  Au Revoir Flicka.

Recently, in the summer of 1997, I moved to Texas.  I lived in Ingram, Kerrville [1 2 3] and now in Austin. What a wonderful place!  But, if you intend to drive your car in Texas, have a look at this driving survival guide.  I have travelled to Dallas, San Antonio, Fredericksburg, Houston, Galveston, Round Rock, Georgetown, Salado. I also visited a very interesting place in Blanco Texas: The Christ of the Hills Monastery in New Sarov, where I saw the  Weeping Icon weep.

Reading,  I like to read books that have a purpose ... no patience for loose talk.  Does anyone have a comment about this?

Architecture.  A different kind (of course).  Do you wish to know what makes a place [a room, a house, a street, a park, a town] alive or dead?  Why do most modern houses cause divorce?  What's wrong with most modern office buildings?  Then read "The Timeless Way of Building", "A Pattern Language" and "The Oregon Experiment" by Christopher Alexander .... published by Oxford University Press.

Some of the places I traveled to are (outside the USA):

Argentina. There, while at university, I made a long trip by car, through the Patagonia, to Tierra del Fuego, [map] all the way to Ushuaia, crossing the Magellan Straight twice.

Brazil, where among many other places I visited Brasilia before it was finished.

Mexico. There I visited, amomg many other places, the "Museo Nacional de Antropologia", the Pyramid of the Sun and that of the Moon.
