GERMAN HUNTING

THE WAY AMERICAN HUNTING SHOULD BE!!!

This page is designed to help share my experiences in Hunting in Germany. It is a small way that I might be able to express my gratitude to a great number of German and American people who taught me how to hunt and shoot. I currently hunt in the little town of Wilferdingen between Karlsruhe and Pforzheim.

In my current Hunting area. I am allowed to hunt Fox and Roe Deer. My German Forester is Max Wagner.  Max has endless patience and has been a forester and taught folks how to manage forests and hunt for over 30 years.  My hat is off to him I know I had a very steep learning curve.

Roe Deer Look like this                                                             Or like this if your lucky

The foxes I hunt look a lot like this.

I use Ziess Products for my Hunting.
             Both Scopes and Binoculars

I use a lot of different Rifles but my baby is a KRIEGHOFF Drilling.

It the lower left barrel is the one I have.  16 Gauge/22 Hornet/7X57R.

Both these items are quite expensive and I had to buy them used but I think they will last me the rest of my life as well as that of my Son's.  I at first had less and wished for more.  I would have a 270 Winchester when foxes would be near or I would have a 22 Magnum when Deer would pass by.  Or the biggest of all it would get dark and I could not see through my scope or field glasses.
That is why I only use this equipment in my hunting.  For Moose or bear I might use my 30-06 or borrow a guides rifle.
