MeMe and PaPa
My Grandparents, who god loved and
touched have gone on to be with him in heaven.
They lived a life that few would want yet they made their lives special and one of
kind.
They had the ability to always show
love and compassion even to strangers in the hardest of situations.
Even years after there death my uncle still runs into people in Baytown and
Denver Harbor that they touched.
These people often have tears in their eyes when they share how they were
helped.
MeMe she was a homemaker, who also worked at Wyatt's restaurant. She took care of me when my mom could not. Often when I was little she cared for me when I was very sick. She would often drive hundreds of miles to fix what ever needed fixing in my life and should talk up a storm and make good coffee with bacon and toast.
My PaPa was oilfield man that did a bunch of stuff with his hands that I could not even began to explain. He a deep knowledge of pumps and rigs. He was a good man who invented the second family movement that most of the men in my family have. He shared, helped and gave so much to so many that I am sure we will never know all of the people in his life he touched, showed the word God to or found work for. He often comes to me in my daily life and talks to me about the path my life is taking. His image is as clear as day sitting with me often in the car or at my kitchen table. (A bit strange but very true)
