EDUCATION 1980 - 82 Massachusetts Institute of Technology
first class honours degree in Physics.
              1982 - 86 M.I.T. PhD - Astrophysics - Understanding
                        the Mathematical and Physical functions
and possibilities of Black Holes and
                        similar astral phenomenon.

HISTORY Nothing pre 1980. Found on March 12 1980 floating
on raft of unknown origin, in the middle of the
Pacific Ocean, by Central American fishermen. Aged
around 45. Taken to American Embassy in San José.
Appeared to be suffering from permanent personal
amnesia, an inability to remember any details of a
personal nature, except his own name. Believed to be
brought on by some extreme personal trauma. Taken to
Washington by diplomat and wife. But despite repeated
requests for help in the Washington Post,
New York Times, and many more American and European
papers, no relatives or friends could be found.
Meanwhile, the diplomat found that Klein was an
excellent Mathematician and Physicist, his talent
clearly outranking any local teachers, and the
majority of University academics. He applied, with
persuasion, to M.I.T. for a course in Physics, which
he completed with the minimum of effort and still was
top of the year. His expectations grew with the
knowledge that a PhD was easily obtainable. His work
was greeted with the quiet exuberance often shown by
the academic world, but behind closed doors the word
              'Genius' was often muttered.
PhD thesis on 'Black Holes... was commended
for it's clarity and it's definite flair for the
explanation of the complex mathematics involved, and
is often quoted as one of the best example of a first
thesis. Became Professor Klein in 1995.
Died tragically on August 20 1999 from an undiagnosed
              brain tumour.
