A message from John Cacciato, Faithful Navagator Welcome and thank you for stopping by our Web Site! As the new Faithful Navagator for the Samuel Cardinal Stritch Assembly #205, I am very proud to be the first Faithful Navagator involved with this new and exciting technology. Many people ask what is the difference between a Council of the Knights of Columbus and an Assembly? The answer...The Assembly and the Council both work with and in cooperation with the Catholic Bishops and Clergy, and the programs are similar to those of a Council. The Main difference is that an Assembly is made up of only members who have taken their Fourth Degree (Patroitism) and it's members belong to various councils located within their area of existence. A Council only meets at their council location and the Assembly meetings are held at various Council member Council Halls. As a member of the Fourth Degree, you also have the honor of being able to wear the cape, sword, and chapeaux at various parades, masses, memorials, and a host of other affairs. There is much more, but I'd rather you take a few minutes to view what else is in our website, and if you are already a Knight of Columbus, but not yet a Fourth Degree member, this site will help convince you to take your membership one step further. And, if you are not a member, I hope you will find enough interest to JOIN the Order soon. Thank you again for stopping by, and we hope you enjoy the site. With Warmest Fraternal Regards, VIVAT JESU!
