Welcome to the Hall of the Avatars!
NOTICE: Welcome to my place of verse: The Hall of The Avatars! Poetry is one of my favourite things in the entire world, and I really enjoy writing it, so I've decided to share my passion with you here. An important notice, though: my poetry means the world to me, so please do not plagiarise it. It is copyright under my name, and I will not hesitate to pursue action if I find my work stolen by anyone. It is here for all to enjoy, so please do not take it. Domo Arigato and enjoy!

Street Fighter
Secret-A symphonic poem by Seiya Kou
Secret-A symphonic poem
This is the first poem I had written for the site, featuring Ryu and Ken from the "Street Fighter" series. For background effect, I have chosen Madonna's song, "Secret", from her album, "Bedtime Stories". I would like to thank Miracle Shining for her inspiration on this one!
Final Fantasy VII
[untitled] [untied] [unbound] by Seiya Kou
[untitled] [unbroken] [unbound]
This is my first yaoi poem which utilises the first person perspective. This poem is also, I think, my favorite, since I love writing about Vincent Valentine's character. However, before you read this you should know that the mood of this poem is depressing, a side effect of using the accusative style (which was popularized by the poet, Anne Dillard).
Remembered [ecstasy so bitter/passion so sweet] by Seiya Kou
Epoque One
Here is the first of a two-part epic poem I wrote in honour of my all-time favourite bishouen (whom I love very much), Vincent Valentine!
Final Fantasy VIII
Duet by Seiya Kou
Duet
This is my first yaoi poem that can be considered explicit in nature, not to mention my first FF8 poem as well! Featuring Squall and Zell, this work uses a quasi-chorus, a similar technique employed by the dramatists of ancient Greece.
Eulogie Eternel Cinq by Seiya Kou
Eulogie Eternel Cinq
Since I've not yet finished Final Fantasy VIII, I was shocked to hear of its tragic ending. If you ask Miracle Shining or Domino, I was clearly shaken when they told me. Really, I honestly wasn't prepared to hear of the final events of the game. This poem is expressive of my feeling about it all.
Xenogears
The Flight by Seiya Kou
The Flight
I've been on a Shitan/Siguard kick these past few weeks. Here is a poem that I've written during this time. With this poem, I've purposely used a literary trick. Whoever can identify it first wins super special prize!

To Rayne, with Love and Squalor
I wrote this poem because my inner voice cried out for a way to release these feelings. The work itself requires no explanation, and I don't care if anyone does or does not read it, nor will I accept any messages regarding it.
