For many people the stories we are told as children, of heroes and villans and creatures larger than life, are dismissed when we enter adulthood. This is truly a shame, for the stories we were told as children helped us form our views of ourselves and the world around us. More than just tales of fancy to pass the time, myths usually contain the lessons of life for the society they come from.
