Mary Ann Sigsworth, daughter of James Albert Sigsworth and Eliza Ann Whaley, was born Feb. 1865 in Loughborough, Frontenac Co., Ontario Canada, married Jan. 10, 1888 in Clear Lake, Polk Co., Wisconsin to Ole Lewis (he born Dec. 1866 in Little Falls, Polk Co., Wisconsin). Ole was the son of Lewis and Betsy Swanson, and the brother of Simon Lewis (born July 1861 Norway, Living Clayton, Polk Co., Wisconsin, Page 85, Household #36, in 1900), William Lewis, and Erick Lewis (born May 1875 Wisconsin, died Apr. 11, 1907, Polk Co., Wisconsin).

2-Claude Wesley Lewis, born Sep. 25, 1889 at Richardson, Polk Co., Wisconsin, died  Mar. 19, 1969, at Robinsdale, Hennepin Co., Minnesota, married Alvina Augusta Modrow on Nov. 2, 1920 at Robinsdale (she born April 16, 1890 at Greenwood, Hennepin Co., Minnesota, died Nov. 12, 1971 at New Hope, Hennepin Co., Minnesota, daughter of Frederick K. Modrow and Amelia Roepke). Children of Claude and Alvina at Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota were: 1-Delores Virginia Lewis, born Nov. 23, 1921; 2-Claude Albert Lewis, born Apr. 27, 1923, died at Minneapolis on June 7, 1923; 3-Rollin William Wesley Lewis, born Nov. 29, 1924; and 4-Betty June Darlene Lewis, born Aug. 6, 1929

3-Essie Lewis, born Aug 1890 Clear Lake, married Ruel Roberts at Turtle Lake and had two known children; 1-Viola and 2-Melvin. In 1920 the family was living at Clayton, Polk Co., Wisconsin, Roll 2010 Book 1, Page 130a, Household #2

4-Myrtle Lewis, born Apr. 1894 in Clear Lake

5-Walter Monroe Lewis, born Nov. 7, 1902, in Richardson, Polk Co., Wisconsin, died Oct. 1977 in Clayton, Polk Co., Wisconsin, married Clara Marie Mewes on May 19, 1924, at Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota. Clara, the daughter of Fred and Rosa Mewes, was born Aug. 15, 1907, at Clayton where she died Nov. 29, 1994. In 1930 the family was living at  Turtle Lake, Barron Co., Wisconsin, Roll 2561 Book 2, Page 43a, Household #133. Children of Walter and Clara were: 1-Melvin M. Lewis, born 1927 Turtle Lake, died in Minnesota; 2-Vernon D. Lewis, born 1928 Turtle Lake, died Wisconsin; 3-Hazel L. Lewis, born 1930 Turtle Lake, married Unknown Anderson; and 4-Joy Lewis, born after May 1924, married Unknown Brekke
