Fanny Anna Sigsworth, child of William Henry Sigsworth and Mary Scott, was born April 27, 1854, in Storrington, Frontenac District, Ontario Canada. She married John William Jackson Whaley on June 28, 1871, in Sydenham, Frontenac District, Ontario Canada, s/o Nathan Whaley and Ann Jackson (according to the Sigsworth Family Bible records, Fanny was married to John Walley on June 18, 1871, at Sydenham). Fanny died some time after 1925 in Loughborough, Frontenac District, Ontario Canada, and William died there December 10, 1917. Their children, all born Loughborough, were:
1-Archibald James Whaley, born June 12, 1872, died 1957 at Loughborough. He married Eliza Jane Stevenson some time before 1891 in Loughborough. Eliza was born Aug. 28, 1874, in Loughborough, where she died in 1960. Her parents were Thomas Stevenson and Hannah Campsall. 2-Mary Elizabeth Whaley, born about 1876, married James John Lafrance.
3-Eliza J. Whaley, born Feb. 11, 1878, died 1912 in Sydenham. Eliza married Abraham B. Freeman (he born May 24, 1878, in Ontario Canada), and had one known child, William Freeman, born Oct. 12, 1899, at Loughborough. After Eliza's death , Abraham married Maria Carlton (she born 1872 in Ontario).
4-Agnes Whaley, born July 3, 1882, married Samuel Stevenson on Dec. 14, 1899, in Portland Twp., Frontenac District, Ontario Canada (he born March 26, 1868, in Loughborough, Frontenac District, Ontario Canada, s/o Thomas Stevenson and Hannah Campsall). Samuel was previously married to Esther E. Conway (she born 1867 Storrington, Frontenac District, Ontario Canada, d/o Jacob Conway and Alzina Burtch). Known children born to Agnes and Samuel were:
1-Flossie Stevenson, born after Dec. 1899in Portland, married Unknown Amy and Unknown Milligan.
2-Henry Bernard Stevenson, born 1904 in Portland, married Violet May Green some time before 1930. Their children were Eleanor E., Beatrice, Donald, Bernard, Clayton, Frances, Phyllis, Irene, and Evelyn.
5-Catherine A. Whaley, born Aug. 28, 1884, married John Thomas Stevenson (he born Jan. 10, 1881, in Sydenham, s/o Thomas Stevenson and Annie Claus. Thomas Stevenson was previously married to Hannah Campsall).
6-Alice Mathilda Whaley, born Aug. 7, 1887, died 1906 in Loughborough. She married Phillip Vankoughnett on Nov. 3, 1905, in Loughborough. Phillip, who was born May 10, 1887, in Bedford Mills, Leeds District, Ontario Canada, died Nov. 15, 1939, in Kingston, Frontenac District, Ontario Canada. His parents were Elijah Vankoughnett and Mariah Elizabeth Green. Alice and Phillip had one known child, Alice Vankoughnett. After Alice (mother) died, Phillip remarried to her sister Eva Beatrice Whaley (following).
7-Eva Beatrice Whaley, born Jan. 12, 1891, died April 8, 1972, in Kingston. She married Phillip Vankoughnett, widower of her sister Alice (above) about 1910, in Kingston. Eva and Phillip had one known child, Maude Vankoughnett.
