The Kender Toss
This is a game that some friends say that they were taught by some other Kenders, hmmm I don't know, I think that they are looking for any excuse to toss me around *LOL*. Well anyway it can be fun if it is done the right way.
Rules of Kendertoss:
- Participants are split into two member teams with a kender (the designated tossee)
- A landing area is chosen preferably a soft marsh bed (quicksand is forbidden) or haystack (minus pitchforks and needles). Lakes are also acceptable provided the kender is a swimmer. Any area specifically designated by the kender is also acceptable.
- One member of the team grasps the kender firmly by the forearms, while the other team member grabs the kender by the ankles. For optimum range, a series of back and forth swinging motions should be executed before the final release sends the kender airborne.
- As the kender takes flight, team members alert other travelers in the area by yelling "Kender-tossed!"
- Maneuver is complete when kender lands or surfaces and distance measurement is taken.
I came to learn about this game by accident, I was sitting at a locker at school when I made the grave error of asking two of my friend's to help me to my feet. Being stiff from playing tag with an over enthusiastic dragon. It thought it would be a good addition to the game if it tried to eat me in the process. And as interesting as that may have been since I have never seen the inside of a dragon before, but it would have cut the game short. Any way there I go rambling again, any ways they grabbed hold of my wrist and pulled. I flew across the hall and well the game kind of escalated from there. Although I would love to learn from what Kender they learnt that from, as far as I know I'm the only Kender they know. Hey guy's…?
