I was born
in 1970 in Elgin, Illinois(Currently reside in South Elgin Illinois). Went
to Burlington Central High School and I graduated High School in 1989.
I went to Elgin Community College to earn a A.A.S. Degree in Computer 1994.
When I was in the job market I realized that the A.A.S. Degree is not enough
so I have decided to go to Devry Institute of Technology in Addison Illinois.
Right now I work at Integrated Document Technologies
as a Systems Analsyst.
The reason
why I decided to create a Battlestar Galactica page because to me it was
my first Science Fiction show that I was a die hard fan of. I never
heard of Star Trek(The Orginal Series that is) until the movies came out.
I was a Star Trek: The Next Generation fan at the end of the third season
and the start of the fourth(I was assimilated by the BORG!). Babylon5
was not out unitl 1994. With the exception of Babylon5
I feel that current science fiction shows is to politically correct. That
is why I'm hoping for Battlestar Galactica comeback.
I also happen
to be married. My wife, Christine Davis
,is a very understanding wife. Since I'm never home(either at school
or work) it is kinda hard on her. That is one of the reasons why I'm going
to school so I could provide a better life for her.
No I'm not looking for a new job. I'm happy where I'm working at. My computer skills deal mainly with Client/Server technology. When I first went into the Data Processing field, I thought the Mainframe or the AS/400 is the way to go. WRONG! Since Bill Gates owns the computer industry I guess it is job security for me to learn his software.
My Skills Are:
I do have hobbies besides net surfing or at work or at school. I happen to be a supporter of Space Exploration. I happen to be a member of the National Space Society. The goal of the National Space Society is promote this nation to be a spacefaring nation. I also like to watch sports. My favorite sports is Baseball, Football, and Basketball. Of course my favorite teams is the Bears, Bulls and the Cubs.
That is basically about me. I hope to scan some pictures of me to make this page look a little better.
