The nights of Fall are very near,
and time for moonlit walks.
When lovers stroll out hand-in-hand,
and share their special talks.
Through the dusk of forest glen,
or on a pristine beach,
they long to finally be alone,
and for each other reach.
Sweet lips meet in an embrace,
arms holding the other tight,
Lost in love inside the world,
these lovers in the night.
Eyes shut tight, so deep in love,
with sweet moans filling the air.
And hands explore the others form
as bodies start to bare.
To his bed he carries her,
and lays her gently down.
His eyes drink in the wonder of
this treasure he has found.
Her arms reach up and beckon him,
urging him to her side.
Slowly he does lower himself,
and close to her will slide.
The love they make this very night,
is something pure and sweet.
Their bodies one, their hearts aflame,
their minds lost in the heat.
Too soon comes the morning sun,
and with it another day.
They hate the thought of parting now
but soon must go away.
Back to the world of everyday,
and works that must take flight.
They have their thoughts to keep with them
These lovers in the night.
