On Friday, Jan.5th,1999, I planned a "hurried" surprise party, for my "then" Girlfriend (Janet). Tho it was suspected, no one knew the real reason for this get-together.---- Janet, usually came home around 4:30pm(est) and would join me on-line in a room I "created" for a group of our friends to meet. So on this day, I had assembled about 10 "witnesses", and we waited and waited. Janet, you see, having NO idea what was happening, had decided to stop and pick up her groceries on the way home. By the time she arrived, at 6:30, Beach02 was the only guest left. It WAS, after all, a Friday Night!!

Janet was truely saddened at missing the "party". And I REALLY wanted to ask her. So I whispered to PAKIII, and she rallied a few of the guests to return.... Once they arrived I quickly began:::::::

KhatManDu: "ROOM!!!--May I Please have your attention for the next few minutes?"
KhatManDu takes HOTPANTS26 by the hand, and seats her in a chair, placed in the middle of the room-----[from behind his back], he pulls a bouquet.....Six long-stemmed Red Roses, babys-breath, and Six long-stemmed Violets.....and hands them to her. Saying, (in a shaky voice):

KhatManDu: "Baby--Please accept these Red Roses!---And the Blue Violets, too!....You see, I've brought you here before our friends today, because I have something important to ask of you!!..."

KhatManDu reaches inside his coat and pulls out a small blue, velvet-covered box---from which, he pulls a gold band.-----He kneels before his Lady and nervously begins:

KhatManDu: "When the night is dark and dreary, And the loneliness has set in..I look for my Shining Star. And feel your presence once again. You have made my dreams worth dreaming. Your strength has been my guide. You've given each new day meaning....My Shining Star, radient in the sky.----I'm comforted by the words you've written to me, I listen to our songs. They fill my heart with a longing, For you to hold me in your arms.----We don't know what tomorrow will bring. But surely you must know, You will always be my Shining Star. Because My Love, You are in my soul....."

KhatManDu: "Only one thing could bring even more joy into my life----- HOTPANTS26 ------Would you, Please---Be My Wife?"

[After a 15 second pause--that, to me, seemed like an eternity--She replied:]

HOTPANTS26: "YES!! YES!!"

KhatManDu slips the ring on her slender finger----Saying:

KhatManDu: "You arrived so unepectedly that special night-- Bringing me the hope of the love that I thought was lost...And tho we live so very far away-- No distance can keep you from being locked into my heart...I feel your presence all around me-- I see your warm smile-- I feel your gentle touch-- I hear your voice whisper, "I Love You, Sweetheart"..... This bond between us will live on forever...And until that wonderful day when we are finally united, -- You'll remain safely locked in my heart."

KhatManDu then takes HOTPANTS26 into his arms and kisses her pasionately.........
