Before I begin I need to say that this is MY OPINION, so if you need to go off on me because of what I'm about to say, then RESPOND HERE!!

I don't understand how people could harbor so much hate toward a person or organization they know nothing about. Within the last week this website has received quite a few hateful e-mails, forum , & guestbook entries. Why...because these people don't agree with the existence of our organization. I don't see why what we do or how we do it should matter to "these people" as long as we are doing something good for our community.

Now, I'm not expecting everyone to agree...that would make me naive. But, what I am expecting is RESPECT!!!. If you don't like the fact that our organization exist...fine. If you need to let us know that...then great, but you can do it in a respectful manner. There is no need to take cheap shots, using crude remarks, or name calling. That is not going to help you make your point. All it is going to do is make you look ignorant and get your entry deleted.

Now, I have said all of this before, and I'm going to say it again for the **!!LAST TIME!!**

    1. The Angels at OU, are a separate & recognized organization on our campus.

    2. Yes, one of our initial purposes was to assist the men of Alpha Phi Alpha, but as well all know that is no longer the case. Their national organization decided to disassociate themselves from us which turned into a positive for us because now there are MANYother campus where the Angels are a separate & recognized organization...i.e. Okla. State Univ., Northern Illinois Univ., Grambling State Univ, Wilberforce Univ., Kentucky State Univ, Valdosta State Univ., Central State Univ. ,& many more... we are all able to make our own decisions & do things for the community in our own name.

    3. People have said "If you're not affiliated w/ A-Phi-A & you have the disclaimer on your page, then why do you have to have links to their websites?" The answer if fairly simble. A. Even though we are no longer an "auxillary" to their organization we will not forget where our organization came from. There will always be a sense of respect towards those men...so, why should we act like there was never a relationship between the two organizations. B. Just because you have a groups link on your website does not mean you're claiming to be affiliated with that particular group. I have links to essence & vibe magazine, msbet, disney.com, blockbuster music, & many other organizations, but no one says anything about the disclaimer I have on those pages because I am not affiliated with those magazines, networks, or organizations.

Now, some of you may have noticed that you are not able to leave messages in the forum. The reason...well, I got tired of a few people coming into the forum asking the same questions over & over I guess because they didn't like the answer they got, so they kept asking the same questions hoping the answer would change. I also got tired of people whining about their entries being deleted. I don't care who you are, what you said, or how you said it...if I don't want it on the forum I will deleteit. You leaving 4 different messages whining about it is just going to make me angry. So STOP IT!! You're not going to make me change my mind.

The following are some of the reasons I banned IP addresses starting with 128.59.223.*** & 209.154.67.***. Obviously these entries are coming from the same area. So, I would like for you to pay close attention to IP addresses & read the responses. I found it some what interesting!!!
