leaf The Language of Flowers leaf

Plants and flowers have always been surrounded by some mystery, although, or perhaps because of, their use as all round household objects, familiar to all. Various meanings have been attributed to them over the ages. Usually, these meanings are connected to a physical aspet of the plant in some way: the appearance, behaviour, medicinal affects, and so on. It is said that witches used plants with meanings closely linked to the desired outcome of their spells. In Victorian ages, whole conversations could take place simply by the sending of specific flowers. By combining different plants, different messages coud be sent, for many plants have more than one meaning. The following list gives a few examples.
