Kolisia is a little different from the person who controls her
actions. Kolisia is open minded and doesn't really care what people
do or say as long as they aren't in her way. Her attitude changes
by the hour and that isn't really differen't from myself.
My name is Ashley and I am a Texan (yes! I do have the accent.). However,
I just moved to Wyoming (July of 98) and am still getting used to the cold weather.
I used to be a regular in Mars Colony in the Chat
House but I think I broke away when most of all the other's I knew
did. I now only get on the net in the evenings. I am shy, believe it or not. I don't have problems
with people who don't have a clue who I am or who my family is.
I am usually introduced as "This is Heath/Anthony's little sister."
Then they say, "Oh! Heath! I remember him...no wonder, they look
exactly alike." People say I look like both my brother's but thier
looks are the exact opposite. *s*
Theatre . . . theatre is one of my loves. When I perform, it gives me a
chance to be all these different people and escape from who I am. For
some reason, I really get into the characters. I don't go on the
stage and think to myself, "Okay Ashley, wait for your cue...what was
your line again?" *s* I've never done that . . . even on my first
performance. I hope to get into that again here in Wyoming but who knows.
I haven't grown up with a large family...but a very protective one. I have two older brothers who make it a priority to look after me...even though I often promise them I can look after myself. We are close though, and I hate being so far away from them. The youngest of the two has already started his own family...he is married and has a little girl who was born late last September.
I don't come from a tremendously religious background but I keep my Faith strong and active. I'm not a regular at Church but wish I was. I was raised in St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Texas which when I go to Texas for a visit, I always drop by to see everyone.
Ever since I was introduced to the net...I was facinated with what one person could do with a page. At first of course, most people didn't even know how to do fancy text or ever colors. Some didn't even have the slightest clue to what a "homepage" was. My first homepage was strictly text and an ugly background. I didn't know how to post images, much less make them. I was very young at that point and had the time to spend hours on the computer looking up how to do certain HTML. I was working on a crappy old Packard Bell with Windows 3.1 ... that limited my work greatly. Slowly I started learning more and more things and each time I would learn something new, I would create a completely different page...I have created over 6 different looks for Kolisia's World. I am finally going to take a rest with this look. I do this for fun. I love learning about design and different layouts. If you have seen all 6 of my looks...you would see I have had a different layout for each one and my design has improved an extreme amount. I have settled with just dolphins for over 2 years. Making this new look has opened great new windows for me. I am slowly learning how to hand-draw things and then edit them on the pc...I am becoming much more proud of my creations. I guess I want to show the world that I can do this...that I enjoy doing this...and that I am good at what I do (at least that is what I think). *s* I love doing this...I will stay up all night and work on my ideas even if I know I have important things to do in the morning. When I do work on my pages, I end up getting frusterated because I have to learn more in order for me to do what
I want. *s* This is certainly going to be something I will always be doing
I became a licenced scuba diver at the age of 13 and have gone to Cancun for some scuba diving as well as swimming with the dolphins. I am curently hoping for a summer trip to Cozumel with my father who got me into scuba diving in the first place. I have to admit...diving in the carribean is scary at first. I ran low on air rather quickly. After my 2nd dive I was okay though...kept my air longer than my father did...which is an accomplishment. *s*
I don't have many talents. I was involved in sports up until my 9th year at school. I have rather weak ankles and have to limit my activites...either I have surgery or just watch what I do.

Ashley than it was Kolisia. *s*
