I haven't really seen people gang-up on Minako, but then again, I have. Anti-Sailormoon pages saying that Minako is the "valley girl" of the group or a tomboy for liking and being good at her favorite sport voleyball. But Minako is a sweet, charming and innocent girl with a hurtful past, and bright future. Read on, and if you dislike Minako, you'll be better educated about her, enough to revise your opinion or even feel sympathetic for her.

Meet Aino Minako, a sweet and beautiful young lady who loves volleyball and boys. Her golden hair and blue eyes draw you a picture of what you would think to be a carefree girl with everything that she needs. But please, do not let those sapphire eyes decieve you, for they reflect feelings of hurt, and depression repressed into her soul.

Before joining the Sailor Senshi as Sailorvenus, Minako lived in England, and was also known as Sailor V, the hit superhero idol everywhere. There were video games and kawaii dolls made to her likeness. Usagi was one of her biggest fans. Anyway, Minako fell in love with Alan, and had a friend named Katarina(?). Evil attacked Katarina(?) and turned her into a monster. Minako and Usagi were there to save her, but Usagi hesitated to use her healing on her.

Sailorvenus pleaded with tears for Sailormoon to do so, and she did. Minako faced the fact that Alan loved Katarina(?) and not her. She moved on, and now seems to "fall in love" with every boy she might see, often fighting with Makoto or Usagi over him. Minako sometimes has trouble with her mother and the police. But at sports, beware of her in volleyball, her favorite one, because she is very confident of herself and can probably beat you, no offense.

Minako's favorite subject in school is P.E., and I believe she dislikes everything else. She got that trademark red bow in her hair from a boy who told her she looked better with it. I will soon have a scan with Minako's hair loose for those who are curious. She thought he loved her, but found out he says that to every girl, so I think she killed him. (I am not sure).

Minako used to go crazy about the hit idols, Three Lights, and was their assistant, taking them to photo shoots and signing events. She would desperately try to give them a tour around the school, and was very sad when she found out they were also Sailor Senshi. Minako wasn't at all shy around them, though. Anyway, I truly believe Minako Aino is a very sweet girl, who's only way to feel happy is to care for others. I think she has a very bright future, together with her friends and family, who love her very much. (Not to mention her obsessed fans) Minako has achieved her dream of being an idol.
