There is a bright flash as a image flickers into view. The image is of a man, which forms completely then drops down to the ground on his knees. "Uhnn....."

Walking through the darkened streets, a green blazer draping over one shoulder, Rubeus walks steadily. His footsteps making quiet sounds, as he makes his way through the town. "All the trouble I have to go through... just to keep one pathetic girl alive." he complains to himself. A look of pure annoyance rests on his handsome features, feeling the agitation of what he has to go through... and without Cooan and her sisters to boss around to do his bidding. Then there is a flash of light, which makes Rubeus stops in his tracks, "What the..." Eyes narrowing as he stares at the figure in the light, watching him carefully as he descends towards the ground. He makes no move, just remains in place, watching from afar.

The man clutches his forehead and shakes his head...weary and disoriented. As the light flickers again then fades he slowly brings his head up and looks around. His soft voice speaking, "..where....am I?" As he attempts to stand he stumbles and falls again to his knees.

Rubeus remains where he is for a long moment, assessing the situation. The hand which clutches at the blazer over his shoulder, tightens its grip, when he suddenly realizes who is before him. "S..Sapphire-sama!" he calls out, before hurrying over towards your side, kneeling down besides you as he reaches for your arm, "It is you... Prince Diamond will be glad to know that I have found you! Are you hurt?"

Sapphire's head is down and eyes closed. He seems to not hear your voice, lost in his own world of confusion as he tries once again to stand. But he brushes up against you, this causes him to look up and to you. The dark crescent of the moon over his forehead flashes for a brief second but his eyes register no signs of recognition of you. He steps back by himself and watches you warily. "..who...who are you...? Rubeus...?"

Rubeus's grip on your arm is firm, yet gentle, not wanting to hurt you as he attempts to aide you. His stern face softens into a quaint smile as he looks upon you, "It is you Sapphire-sama. Yes, it is I, Rubeus." Even as you take a step back, Rubeus keeps to your side as best he can, a concerned look coming over his features, "I must get you back to the manor..."

Sapphire's expression muddles into more confusion as he wathces you. "The manor....?" His eyes wash over you, studying, relearning as it seems or just trying to re-remember. "Who's manor Rubeus....?" He widens his stance planting his feet firmly to keep balanced as he massages the back of his neck.

Rubeus keeps to your side, watching you carefully, his hand never releasing its grip on your arm. He gazes gently into your face, seeing the confusion in your eyes, ".. Prince Diamond's manor... He has a place for us to dwell, while we gather our powers and sources once more. Giving a slight wink, Rubeus says reassuringly, "Things will be much better once we see Prince Diamond. He is probably worried sick about you, Sapphire-sama...

Sapphire's hand moves over his face as he shakes his head losing his balance somewhat. "I..no. You died..how are you here? How am I here? The wiseman he....he..." He looks up to you, his face having turned ghostly white and eyes glazing over.

Rubeus's expression changes quickly, his positive attitude taking a downwards turn, once you mention his own death... reminding him of his failure, and that Prince Diamond had abandoned him... So Esmerald had said.  Though, the last part... the wiseman, "What about the wiseman?" Rubeus inquires, oblivious to the Wiseman's treacheries, "Does he still exist? Will he aide us here and now?" The excitement in his sparkling red eyes return, "He must have been the one... who brought us back here to get our revenge on Sailor Moon." As you lose your balance slightly, Rubeus does what he can to keep you steady, letting you lean against him for support.

Sapphire reaches out to grasp you and steady himself, then looks sternly into your eyes as his own narrow and flash and the moon insignia over his forehead glows. "NO! He...he was using my brother....he.. He used US! My brother....is he safe? I couldn't..." The effort is too much for him, he shudders then blacks out falling forward losing consiousness. His hand that grasps you falls limp as he lets go.

Hearing your words, Rubeus' eyes widen, almost in shock, "He used us? The Black Moon Family?" the disbelief in his voice evident, as he had never expected so much from the Prince's advisor. The excited anticipation slipping away from his face, to be replaced by his own look of confusion as his eyes meet your gaze. "Yes.. Prince Diamond is fine. I saw him today, for the first time in what felt like an eternity of nothingne...Sapphire-sama!" he calls out, feeling your grip on him loosen, your body going limp in unconsciousness, "Sapphire-sama!" he calls out again, this time supporting your full weight against his body. "I must get him back to the manor..." His full strength not yet replenished, Rubeus attempts to teleport the both of you away from the dark streets and back to the sanctuary of your new home. The both of you suddenly disappear in a flash of black light.... appearing within Rubeus' chambers within the manor.

Sapphire's breathing deepens as he begins to regain consiousness. His eyes open slowly then survey the room, taking in the details. The look on his face is of one who is dreaming, but as he wakes up more he realizes this is indeed real. This realization startles him and causes him to sit up suddenly. He clutches the side of his head and grimaces, fighting off the swooning feeling as his weak voice speaks out. "...I don't know whats going on.....this is all confusing to me....I thought I had died..at the hands of Wiseman."

Rubeus feels himself becoming dizzy as well, expending so much energy, which he does not have much of at the moment. His eyes quickly dart to the bed, where the resting form of Sypha sleeps, still healing. ( Good, she has not recovered and escaped in my absence. ) Quickly, yet carefully releasing his hold on you, as you are seated on the floor, he makes his way to the bed, to make room for you to rest there, besides the sleeping female, "Rest Sapphire-sama, I will ready a place for you on my bed, so you can recover..." As he gently lifts the girl's limp form up, placing her on the other side of the bed, Rubeus quickly turns to you, a scowl on his face, "The Wiseman? The Wiseman killed you?!" he asks with such alarm.

Sapphire is lost in some sort of flashback, he doesn't respond for a moment. But when he does his eyes burn with a fiery intensity, as much as can be managed given his weakened state. He nods and slowly pushes himself up to his feet, walks over to the bed on shakey legs, and then gently lays himself down not minding the woman at the time. "He...tricked us..basterdized the plans of our people for his own gain...." He lies back resting his head wearily on the pillows, his eyes heavy and drifting shut as his voice continues sleepily. "....I tried to warn my brother....but wiseman....he defeated me...." His voice trails off as he passes out into a deep sleep.

Rubeus feels his blood grow cold, realizing how the Wiseman had used them, all of them. His eyes narrow angrilly now - Angry at the wiseman for all the damage he has caused them. ( I wonder if the Wiseman was at fault for everything that has happened. The Black Moon Kingdom's downfall... yet, it still does not explain how Prince Diamond could have abandoned me to die... ) As he mulls over his own thoughts, he does not realize that you have changed positions, or have gone to his bed. "Sapphire-sama... yes, get some rest. I will tell Prince Diamond that you are here, and safe now." He forces atleast a faint grin, before turning to leave through the doorway, to give his Prince the good news.
