John Allingham Jardine, of Campbellton.

He enlisted in the 132nd Jan 14th, 1916. He sailed to England 26/10/1916 on the SS Corsican. He transferred to the 104th and then to the 13th battalions while in England. In March 1918 he transferred to the 26th. and was wounded by machine gun bullets at Arras, August 27th 1918. He survived his wounds and returned to Canada on the H.M.T Caronia in April 1919. He returned to Campbellton, where he died in 1936.
