Leoneds



Throughout time and the centuries comets have passed close to the Earth.Many caused great glowing meteor showers,that amazed and awed the people who were lucky enough to view them.To some it may have seemed as if the sky was falling,since a few of the meteors managed to make it to Earth instead of being burned up in the atmosphere.
In 1999,a shower of this sort occured in a remote region of Willow Moon Homestead.In this region,there lived a small band of faeries.As they watched a few small meteors fell to the ground near their faery mound.As they were too hot to touch,the faeries left them where they landed.Soon the dew fell and the rocks popped open.Inside were eggs,so the faeries gathered them up,placed them in a soft warm nest and waited to see what would happen.
A few weeks later the eggs began to hatch and the first of the Leoneds were born.Some were more like dogs,some more like cats,some carried attributes of the pegasus but all had wings.Some wings were like a butterflies,some like the faeries themselves and still others were feathered like the pegasus.All grew to be quite large and soon grew too big for the faerie maound.Some moved out into the forest,others made nests in the trees,still others preferred the desert regions.A few moved to the mountains and a few lived by the sea.
As the faeries lived with them they noticed each Leoned carried with it some attribute of the distant planets and each had some magick that they displayed whether a latent talent or apparent right away.The faeries wondered if the talents had come from being with them or if they were born with them.It seems no one really knows.
As time passed and the Leoneds settled in a few of them mated.Usually having one to two cubs at a time.Some were strange mixtures of the planets and considered mutants by the Faeries.(Only a few of those have been known to exist.)

Planetary Attributes and Powers
Earth:These guys and gals possess the quailites of stability,practicality,and conservatism.They are often very nurturing and can make anything grow.They possess the power over the elements and the seasons,so control the air,fire,water,and the earth changes.

Jupiter:These guys and gals are optimistic,wise,well-liked and cheerful.They possess the power of good health,wordly goods and happiness.Their wisdom is so deep and wide that they possess the power to tell the future by scrying.

Mars:These guys and gals are passionate in all undertakings,have tons of energy,and are very active.They possess the ability to lead and are enterprising and courageous.They possess to power over fire and light.

Mercury:These guys and gals are known for their communication skills,intelligence,perception,and good memories.They possess high energy levels and are usually high-strung individuals.They carry the ability of teleportation.

Moon:The Leoneds of the moon are emotional with sharp instincts,deep senstivity and spontaneity.They represent the hidden side of the personality and possess the power of invisibility.

Neptune:These guys and gals have loads of imagination,are often artistic and visionary.They are interested in all spirtual matters and posssess the power of clarivoyance.

Pluto:These Leoneds are also good leaders.They possess the power of regeneration and transformation.If they don't like the way things turn out they have the ability to time travel and change the outcome.

Saturn:These guys are known for their industriousness,discipline,and integrity.They are responsible and diligent.They possess the power to predict a person's fate in any undertaking.

Sun:Ego is the major factor of the sun Leoneds.They are individuals with great power of self and concious will.They have the ability to turn any metal to gold and any rock to precious gemstones.

Uranus:These guys are inventive,original,independent,and unconventional.They are highly psychic but it usually manifests as telepathy.

Venus:The lovers of art,beauty,and pleasure.They are socially adept, affectionate and possess great charm.They possess the power over glamoury.
