Quick tutorial...
This is a way to create a nice looking text.
In my example I have used the font Hobo and
the foreground color R:189 G:3 and B:143.
Background color is R:252 G:190 and B:228.

1. Create a new image 16,4 million colors, white background color.
2. Select two of your favourite matching colors.
Outline color as foreground color.
3. Write your text, antialias & floating checked.
4. Go to Selections/modify/Feather and feather 6 pixels.
5. Go to Edit and choose Clear. Do this 2 times. Tada! Finished!
6. For a more enhanced look...
With the text still selected go to Image/Effects/Cutout.
Choose white as shadow color, Fill Interior with color NOT checked.
Opacity 100, Blur 5, Offset V-3 H-3. Done!
