Willow in the wind

She gazes beyond the forest,

To the call of the whispering wind

Reminds her of that voice within

Which beckons her to the gentleness

Of the willow in the wind;

of the willow in the wind.

Follow the path to the edge of peace,

To the pond of tranquility;

She crosses the bridge, to the other side

And is drawn to the fantasy

Of the willow in the wind;

Of the willow in the wind.

Bridge

She sings his song, his face appears

They love in the watery green,

The willow he weeps: and lulls his limbs

For a lifetime he's witnessed the dream,

For a lifetime he's witnessed the dream.

Solo

The lovers gaze in each other’s eyes,

When the water is gentle and still,

She kisses the rippling image in vain

Bittersweet memories fade away,

And the willow is still...

And the willow is still...

And the willow is still........

In The Wind.
