Despite a Maverick attack that rendered her left arm partially crippled when she was 19, Celeste is a fearsome fighter. She quietly worships her father Jake who was killed while trying to assasinate a major Maverick leader, Torrent Leviathan.

Celeste inherited a few blessings and curses that are common to the McTreggor bloodline. There is no question that she's a natural fighter, but her instincts often override her common sense. She also aquired a very rare genetic glitch that runs through the McTreggor bloodline called "Mindspeak". Mindspeak allows one person to mentally exchange thoughts and feelings with another who has Mindspeak. Because she fears being alienated or put under study, Celeste does not tell anyone about her bizarre gift.

Celeste is very close friends with Zero. It doesn't take much study to see that the two are in love. However, the two are very reluctant to show it publically due to the fact that society has convinced them that human / reploid relationships are impossible.
