Lake Effect Winter Guards is an indoor competition color guard program sponsored by The Long Island Sound Drum and Bugle Corps.  Like the corps, membership is based upon age and experience levels, with cadet and "A" class programs.  The winter guard competition season runs from mid-January through early May.
