Chicken a la King


This is a cheesy version and is simply wonderful!

Here is what you will need:

1 10.8 oz of Pillsbury Grands Biscuits

3 Tablespoons margerine

3 Tablespoons all purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1 adn 1/2 cups milk

2 cups frozen mixed vegetables cooked and drained

1 and 1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken

1 cup pasturized processed cheese spread (Cheese Whiz)

Bake biscuits as directed on package
Meanwhile, melt margerine in medium saucepan over medium high
heat.  Stir in flour, salt and pepper.  Gradually add milk
stirring constantly.  Stir in vegetables, chicken and cheese.
Cook and stir until cheese is melted and mixture is smooth and 
heated through.  Split biscuits in half.  Serve mixture over
hot split biscuits, makes 5 servings.
