Lara on the Sega Saturn

Anyone who has played Tomb Raider on the Sega Saturn can agree that Lara and the game are different, there is something magical on the Saturn...Tomb Raider was first came out for the Sega Saturn and the PC and PlayStation versions came later. After I have played both Saturn and PC versions I discovered a few differences, probably Core Design made some changes after they got a feedback on the Saturn version. The First big difference is the resolution, on the Saturn the resolution in pretty bad, probably because the Saturn hardware is weak. The second big difference is the colors, on the Saturn they are much more darker, some areas like shadowed corners are almost completely dark, it makes the game more spooky! Lara's skin color is also different, it is very tanned... Another change is the medi packs, they look different and it is much more harder to identified. The loading screens are a little bit different from the PlayStation, there is no loading bar and the Greek loading is a different picture, also in the Saturn there is no loading picture for Lara's home. At the Saturn the water is blue while in the PC they are transparent. I liked the blue water, although they are not so realistic they gives a very special atmosphere. The enemies dies faster on the Saturn! probably because you can only save on the diamond save points. On the PC version there is only one track of music (at least at mine...), on the Saturn there are many different and wonderful classic music tracks for different situations. Those tracks really makes the game beautiful! The last thing is a pretty funny bug at Lara's home on the harp... that bug was fixed on the other versions.
