Garlic Mustard:
8 cloves garlic peeled
1 T. olive oil
1 jar (8 oz.)Dijon style mustard
1/2 tsp. basil leaves
1/4 tsp. oregano leaves
Preaheat oven to 325. Place garlic in a small baking dish drizzle with
oil. Roast 20-30 minutes, stir
frequently until garlic is soft. Mash garlic,remove any tough pieces. Combine
with remaining ingredients.
Refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to blend.
Makes 1 cup.
Horseradish Mustard:
1 jar (8 oz.) sweet,hot mustard
2 T. prepared horseradish
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Combine and refrigerate. Makes 1 cup.
Curried Brown Mustard:
1 jar spicy brown mustard (8 oz.)
1 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
1 tsp. curry powder
1/4 tsp. grated lemon peel
Combine and refrigerate. Makes 1 cup.
Peppercorn Mustard:
1 jar (8 oz.) country Dijon style mustard
1 T. crushed green peppercorns
1/2 tsp. tarragon leaves
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1/4 tsp. salt
Combine and refrigerate. Makes 1 cup.
