STRAWBERRY/BANANA JAM

4 cups crushed strawberries

1 cup mashed almost ripe bananas

1 cup water

2 T lemon juice

2 cups sugar

1 pkg BALL Fruit Jell-No Sugar Needed Pectin (for making homemade jams and jellies with low (max.-3 cups) or no sugar)

Combine fruit, water and lemon juice in large saucepot. Stir in pectin. Bring mixture to a full boil. Add sugar. Return mixture to full boil for one minute, continually stirring. Remove from heat. Skim foam if necessary.

Ladle into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4" of headspace. Seal and process in BWB for 10 minutes. Makes about (7) 1/2 pts.

I LOVE this pectin. Its the only one I use because I find that most recipes require WAY too much sugar. (Gotta watch our waistelines!)The two cups of sugar in this one are more than enough. Hope you enjoy it. We are. :o)
