He watched Jadzia, no, not Jadzia anymore, just Curzon, leave her quarters,Worf in tow.  His throat constricted as he watched the couple go into the turbolift.  They were going out to a Klingon restaurant on the Promenade, he knew.  He had heard them asking Miles and Keiko to join them.  The O'Briens had refused, saying they preferred a quiet dinner with the kids.  He silently saw them disappear into the turbolift, Dax smiling up at the Klingon adoringly.

You can hardly wait to tell all your friends how his kisses taste sweet like wine
And how he always makes your heart skip a beat every time he walks by
And if you're feeling down he'll pick you up
And hold you close when you're making love
He's everything you've been dreaming of
Oh baby

He silently followed them, using the turbolift a few minutes after them.  He passed by Quarks, taking a brief glance inside to see if anyone had spotted him tailing the couple.  Satisfied no one had, he proceeded, keeping them in visual distance.  They entered the restaurant and he saw Dax flash Worf that beautiful smile she had as he opened her chair for her.

I wish you'd look at me that way
You're beautiful eyes look in deep into mine
Telling me more than any words could say
But you don't even know i'm alive
Baby to you,all I am is the invisible man

He slipped into the Celestial Cafe, the little restaurant owned by that Bajoran Odo had had his eye on for a while, he forgot her name. He ordered a Tarkalian tea and quietly observed Dax wrap her arms around that damn Klingon.  *What does she see in him?* he cursed.  They ordered from a waitress and he saw Dax chat with a woman at an adjacent table.

You promised that I was on the phone
Talking bout nothing at all
Doesnt matter what the conversation
Just as long as he call
Lost in a love so real
And so sincere
And you wipe away all those tears
Your face lights up whenever he appears

They finished their dinner quickly and by the way her mouth moved, he saw Dax ask her husband if he wanted to stop at Quarks.  Worf reluctantly agreed and she said bye to the woman at the other table and they walked to a turbolift.  He saw them leave and a few seconds later, followed.

Telling me more than any words could say
But you don't even know I'm alive
Baby to you,all I am is the invisible man

He went onto the second floor, watching the usual buzz of excitement of Quarks bar from above.  He spotted the couple stroll in, Dax smiling happily, and Worf looking grumpier than ever.  To his surprise, they joined Kira, who was having a drink with Shakaar.  They talked for a while, then he heard Dax's laugh override the other noise.  Quark snapped his head up and gazed at her fondly for a second.  Then he turned back around to yell at his brother,Rom.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~***~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I see you all the time,baby
The way you look at him
I wish it was me,sweetheart
Boy I wish it was me
But I guess we'll never know
They waved good bye to Kira and Shakaar, and he watched them leave the bar, Dax holding onto Worf's arm clingingly.  He sighed and walked the stairs down.  He met Kira's eyes and saw sympathy and pity in them.  He returned with a small smile of his own, a nod to Shakaar and walked to the bar.
Quark approached him,a solemn look on his face.  "I saw you up there watching her, Doctor."
Julian Bashir looked at him,his eyes huge with sadness.  "She's gone, Quark.  In a way, Jadzia Dax is dead.  It's only Curzon now."
Quark considered him for a few moments and patted him on the shoulder.  "I know how you feel,Doctor," he poured Bashir a synthale.  "Here,on me."
Julian looked at the drink,then shook his head.  "I think I'll go back to my quarters now."
He got up and left, his shoulders slumped, his head bowed.  Quark watched him leave, his heart going out to the doctor.  Just as Bashir left, he saw Dax rush back in.
"Quark, could you give me a bottle of blood wine?  Worf is having a terrible headache and he says this will help him," she said breathlessly.
The bartender stared at her for a second then nodded his head.  "Of course, Dax," he replied.  He turned his back and wiped away the tear that had fell from his eyes.  "He's right.  There is no more Jadzia."
