Lavaz was, for a time, a normal boy, but then while investigating a 
dormant volcano with a friend he angered a mage and was 
transformed into a Fire Elemental.  On his journey's he met another 
Elemental under the same spell, who told him that to turn back to 
himself he had to fight evil.  While battling a Liche, he friend was 
killed, but not without first giving Lavaz (as he changed his name to) a 
Crystal, the Crystal helped Lavaz stay in his normal form for a time.  
Not much is known about Lavaz other than that, he rarely appears.
