The Original Ending

"Nooo…" Eme closed her eyes as if to try and turn it into a dream.

"Yes." EUA smiled waltzing down the stairs. "Who's your daddy, apparently it's me according to you last night."

Eme glared and EUA almost lost it in a fit of laughter. Eme turned away; she wouldn't give him more to feed on for this little laugh riot of his.

"Chris are you okay?" she went to UA who had his eyes closed.

"Chris!" she slapped him but not hard because of all the injuries.

His eyes slowly opened to hers.

"Eme?" she nodded sadly, EUA was just watching them.

~CFs~ Eme mentally commanded ~get down to the basement.~ then she turned to EUA. "Why couldn't I detect it?"

EUA smiled at his own genius, "While Kyle was on Destiny's Child I manage to acquire T and his unborn child."

"You blackmailed him?" Eme asked.

"Yes and he nullified your psychic abilities to my true presence, don't worry I left him running off with the unharmed woman and child, you know he really cares about that child."

Eme nodded, she knew there was a heart in everyone and EUA had apparently found Kyle's. A creek came from above as the door opened at the top of the stairway and the CFs rushed through. EUA quickly extended a symbiotic tendril from his suit pants and it grabbed Eme by the neck and pulled her to him.

"Ah ah ah" EUA said, "Tell UA to give me the location of his Crystal or the queen dies."

"*$&%)( you!" Pyro yelled.

EUA pulled at Eme's neck, threatening to break it.

"Take this Crystal and come to fight." Entropy held up his Crystal and offered it to EUA.

"No there is only one I want." and he motioned to UA.

"It's in my Crystal Dimension." UA choked out surprisingly to the rest of them.

EUA smiled, "Figured as much, we've made good use of those little pocket dimensions of ours, so tell me what’s the dimensional frequency?"

"UA's Crystal isn't yours, what do you think you could possibly do with it" Tala asked.

"I guess we'll have to wait and see!" EUA turned to Tala then back to UA. "The frequency, brother."

"Eme open a psi link through the two of us so I can transfer it." UA said, looking to her.

"UA no, I..." Eme

"Just do it!" UA said, a command in his voice. Eme wasn't sure, but she had always trusted UA. She nodded then did as he wished and the information passed from UA's mind to hers and then to EUA.

"Thanks and in case this is some kind of booby trap, your girlfriend will be coming along too." EUA left through the swirling portal he created around Eme and himself and they vanished.

Zelia finally came down the basement steps accompanied by a flurry of curses. "Okay, from what I can tell, that was just *really* REALLY bad what you guys just let him do..WHY didn't you STOP him??" It had taken her the longest to get there because she had had to drop Lark off in the nearest bedroom. Now...she almost wished she hadn't. At least EUA seemed to be more focused on another target, he probably knew nothing about Lark. She hoped.

POCKET DIMENSION

EUA gleamed with excitement, he had always wanted to see UA's personal Crystal Dimension. It looked much like his own, he remembered the first time the symbiote had taken him there. It was so beautiful. Much like EUA himself, UA packed a lot of special purpose weapons here that weren’t convenient to carry around. His goal was before him, red and hanging there full of untapped power.

It came off the little hook above the shelf hanging from the leather strap the CFs often used to secure their Crystals around their necks.

EUA dragged Eme to it, he grasped it and smiled, "Beautiful isn't it?"

FAIA

Entropy walked over to UA, "What the hell do you got up your sleeve?" he asked as he quickly cut through UA's chains with Griever.

"Take this collar off, it's nullifying my powers" UA said weakly.

Tala came up and placed a hand at his throat eyeing his face, "What happened?" She phased him through the collar.

UA shook his head, "EUA was just having fun, he hired some goons to pound my face for about twenty hours straight even though he knew it wouldn't get any info out of me."

"Then why did you sustain all that to just give it all up now?" Entropy asked angrily. EUA was enough of a threat without using a Crystal's power, who knows what he could do with it.

UA shook his head shushed them all by placing a gloved finger to his swollen lips. The portal reopened in front of them and Eme stepped out, still the hostage of EUA and now he had placed a Crystal around his neck.

Zelia watched EUA cautiously, itching to just grab the Crystal from him but forcing herself to take her cue from the CFs. They knew his powers, how he operated. She didn't. And, he still had a hostage.

EUA looked around, "Hi all, just came back for one last passenger." he waved for UA to come over to himself and Eme.

UA just glared, he wouldn't be ordered around.

"Come on, don't go thinking you’re going to do something. I know you’re still too weak even with out the nullifying collar, you need your little battery charger." EUA played with the Crystal at his neck.

"You need to learn when to shut up, you’re making a fool of yourself!" UA groaned and his eyes closed, then his body shuttered and he screamed as a black haze seemed to come over him.

"What the hell are you...." EUA started but his whole body went rigid and his eyes forced shut as he shuddered and was brought to his knees.

Eme pulled away and moved to the others as the two-dimensional identical opposites both fell to the floor screaming and then as suddenly as it had begun it ended.

UA was the first to open his eyes and he coughed. Eme ran to him, "What happened?"

"I just stole his energy and powers I think." UA groaned he was feeling the pain of the transfer.

Eme shook her head, "But how?" She helped UA to his feet.

"I don't know, yesterday when those guys were beating the tar out of me it must have hit something in my brain, I don't know..." UA looked around at the others, "…but suddenly I could hear the Crystal like some of you have explained about before, and I just knew this new power was there."

UA reached down at the unconscious EUA and pulled the Crystal off of him and looked at it.

"I think I burnt it out." He rolled it in his hands, the red surface was now tarnished with black burnt looking marks. "But now I have EUA's ability to teleport through dimensions." UA looked at Eme sadly.

"You've always been able to teleport." Eme smiled.

"Not through dimensions…" he let the last word drag a bit "…not back to my dimension."

Eme lost words at the realization.

Entropy came up, "UA are you talking about leaving?"

UA nodded "My fight is done here, it has been for a long time. I stayed to help fight the Vile and when Crystalia was destroyed so was their force."

"But Crystalia, we may be on the brink of bringing it back" Eme got her voice back, "and we need your scientific skills to help."

UA shook his head, "You got a much more qualified scientist in Dr. Tachyon now. I'm a fighter, I need to get back and protect my world and my life now. I'm sorry but I just couldn't be happy here any longer knowing this isn't my world."

Entropy shrugged and held out a hand, UA shook it.

"Happy trails UA."

"Eme." UA turned to her, he held up his Crystal then slipped the leather strap around her neck, "Remember me." She started to pull away but he pulled her back in and kissed her one last time.

UA turned away picking up EUA he hoisted him over his shoulder, "I better get going, I'm guessing there is a limited time warranty on this power transfer."

Eme nodded with tears in her eyes as the portal opened, and UA walked through.
