Viper Heavy Combat Shotgun

The Viper is a total assault weapon. It can use a variety of munitions (flechettes, slugs, or busters.), has less than lethal capabilities (busters), and comes standard with a number of Special Forces favorites. The three ammunition types are the standard flechettes; a dozen tiny fin-stabilized arrows that are twice as deadly as standard buckshot, slugs; a single armor-piercing projectile, or new busters; a soft, unbreakable polymer sack filled with sand and fired at extremely low speeds that is used as a non-lethal alternative. These busters are excellent for stopping and incapacitating unruly targets because they have such amazing knockdown statistics. There is an 85% chance of knockdown for anything weighing less than 200 pounds, 65% for anything between 200lbs to 400lbs, and 50% for anything above 400lbs. The weapons only drawbacks are it's limited range and heavy weight, but those are more than compensated for by it's versatility and firepower.
